Great Product, dogs love it.
All previous issues found below were resolved with minor tweaks to the assembly. I believe this was mainly a user error. Very happy with it now. If I had more dogs, I would buy another.Great product. It works like it should. Plenty of water for my two large dogs to go a week at a time between fill-ups for the 9L. The jug slightly leaks when you fill it up and go to insert it. But once it is in properly, it works perfectly.

Looks nice and works, but has a few design issues - UPDATED 1/14/25
We've had this for a few months now so I can say that while it works and looks great, it does have couple of design flaws. The bottle fits VERY tight in the sleeve so it can very difficult to get out with one person. Because the bottle has no handle, it takes two hands to hold it and you need another to hold the base down or you'll lift the whole unit. If there is still water in it, this makes it even more difficult to handle. Having the metal liner to be able to remove and clean it great. BUT, you have to tilt it up to remove it so if there is ANY water it, you'll make a mess as it pours out the back when tilted. Do love the look and having a valve to be able to replace the bottle without needing to hurry is nice.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and took my suggestions to heart. They even refunded a part of my purchase price - above and beyond. It always worked, just needed a couple of tweaks that I do believe they will look at. The one get may be fixed already. Updated to 4 stars because of their action taken.

Water gets under tray, size is not true. It is more work than I had.
I waited a bit to fully decide how I felt about this dog water bowl. I have two Labrador retrievers and two cats that have multiple water sources and they all share them. This is for the main water bowl that is used 90 percent of the time and is located in the kitchen. What I expected was less refills and easier cleaning. I was also very HOPEFUL (not expected) that maybe we would have less dribble around the bowl.Expected less refills and easier refill- NOT at all. By size this was bigger than I had, think it said 9 L but its not even listed as such on the box. My only guess is they calculate what's in the bowl also, IDK but turned out to be exact same size I had. Refilling is easier in the since that the bottle has the one way value and it doesn't shoot water out when you go to flip it. That is the ONLY plus to this I have.Expected easier cleaning- WAY WRONG! First, you can not remove the metal tray without spilling the water into the holder. Turns out this isn't an issue because water is ALREADY under the tray anyways. This is beyond gross, seems to be mostly the slim slobbers and if you don't clean it often I imagine would be a bacteria pool. Cleaning the entire set up is a must every time you fill it. It is just GROSS. Also, I have an issue putting the bottle in. Should be easy and not having water shoot out is a big plus but the bottle is still heavy and awkward so its almost like you have to drop it in.I also got the riser. It is not very sturdy. It has reduced water dribbles a little. It was not easy to set up. It was to be cleaned every time also which is yet another part to clean.

I’m ordering a second one
I moved all of my animals to metal or ceramic bowls years ago and have been searching ever since for a gravity waterer that was metal or ceramic. And suddenly this year they’re everywhere so I decided to go with this option. I’ve had it for approximately 4 hours and I’m ordering a second one immediately. This thing is amazing. It’s easy to take apart, doesn’t leak, and it’s slim. This thing takes up a quarter of the space my old plastic waterer took up while holding the exact same amount of water. My only concern is that the bowl section is very small and slim. No issue for my long snouted dogs and little cats but large jowled dog owners (think: St Bernard, American Bullies, English Bulldog, even a Frenchie may have a slight bit of trouble) may want to look elsewhere or at least put a nice wide water/drool pan under it.We’ll see how long it holds up but I’m already pleased enough to order a second smaller one to place in my bedroom for my senior dog to drink out of on the days she doesn’t go to work with me.March update: Waterers are still intact and still easy breezy to take apart and clean. I do a light scrub each time I fill and every second time I soak the metal pans in some citric acid and hot water to combat the hard water build up. They wipe clean and everything else is super easy to scrub down with some dish soap. 100% recommend these waterers to everyone!

Works Well, Slim Profile, High Volume, Hard to Clean
Very Promising product but unfortunately not well designed. You can't remove the metal bowl if there is water in it without spilling it everywhere. They simply needed another inch or two on the cutout to enable sliding the bowl out without tilting. Then it would be a great product. I like everything else about this but it makes cleaning out the bowl a hassle.

Leaks water and molds in the seals/Customer Service reached out and offered a replacement unit
Edit to add: Customer Service reached out to offer a replacement dispenser. I will give it another try and update review. The automatic waterer seemed to be exactly what we needed for our two large labs. After about a week of use, it began to leak all over my wood floors. I purchased a mat to go underneath to try to stop the water damage and in a week, the mat began to mold underneath from all the water leaking. I ended up putting the waterer in the garage for our cats but overtime, it develops mold in all the nooks and crannies, not safe for our pets to drink out of. I have tossed it in the trash.
