Portable Power Station with AC Outlet 120V, 24000mAh Laptop Charger Bank

My Powkey portable power station does exactly what I want it to do --- charge small devices when I don’t have easy access to an electrical outlet. The other power banks I own will only charge computers or other digital devices through USB, lightning or other digital ports. I bought this for the wall socket-style AC outlet that lets me charge a wide range of small gadgets. But it also offers two USB charging ports and a DC 12 port (one of those small, cylindrical jacks common on small electrical devices.)It’s very compact, somewhat larger than a typical paperback book. The Surface tablet that’s charging in this photo is smaller than an iPad, so the Powkey (which is closer to the camera) looks artificially large in the picture.The instructions that come with it aren’t great, but the operation is so intuitive that you really don’t need them. The main thing to remember is that this is only for small devices – under 65 watts. It will charge a tablet or small laptop. You can’t use it for a space heater. Your devices will obviously charge much more quickly if they have battery storage and you charge them when they are turned off. I can charge a small Surface tablet in a little over an hour and still have about 20% of the power station’s power remaining.It’s easy to see how well it's charging. A display on the front of the power station clearly shows how much power you have left. A side panel contains all the ports and two important buttons. The round button turns on the power station. A white switch must be shifted to “on” to charge your device. Turn this switch off when you are done to avoid draining the power station. It holds a charge really well in the “off” position. I didn’t use my power station for more than a week and it stayed fully charged.In addition to charging your power station from a wall charger, you can charge it from your car using the included “cigarette lighter” plug. That plug also has an adaptor to convert it to 12 V power.When I tried the car charger, the power station went from 10% to nearly full in about 3.5 hours of on-and-off driving. It seemed to charge more slowly the first two hours and very quickly toward the end.The main reason I bought this was to power a cat cam in an outbuilding that has zero Internet. This particular minicam does not use batteries. With the minicam plugged into the power station, I left the camera running on motion detection for 12 hours with a rather active cat. It used about 40% of the power station’s power in that time (it was not transmitting, just recording to a micro SD card).I highly recommend this for emergency lights or for situations where you need to temporarily plug in a small device in an area without an outlet.

I ended up getting the neon green one, as opposed to the red and black one that I originally wanted because the green one was on sale, but ended up loving the bright green. Feels like a fun toy hanging around my house lol! I got this orignally to see if it might top off my ebike when out in the field and just might need that extra tiny bit to get me home. Come to find out it will actually work with a 2 amp charger. But not with my fast charger. No prob. I also ended up getting a dual batery ebike, and doubt will ever have that problem again, but the charger still lives with me and would easily come in handy if I ever did need it for that reason. All of that being said, this is a super handy charger, primarily due to the hosuehold AC outlet! Most chargers only have usb outputs, and its amazing how much handier having a proper AC OUTLET can be for dang near everything! Yes other power stations exist with AC outlets but they're usually at LEAST a hundred dollars more. So yes this is easily one of the best bangs for your buck for charging multiple devices, and being super handy in it's versatility. Also it isn't too huge or heavy, however I wouldn't bring it around with me as a portable edc phone charger necessarily, due to it's size, But I doubt that was it's intended purpose. This is more of a mini power station that costs as much as an average edc phone charger lol! So you could go to the park or camping and charge a multitude of things simultaneously. Oh ya, I also wouldn';t use this to run a blender or a drill haha, but again, that wasn't it's purpose. However, i don't doubt you could power a few smaller electronics for a little while. This is meant to be a super versatile, multi outlet charger, and that's how I use it and it fits the bill to a T!

I got this to use with a label printer in a warehouse.... it does not work for this. It does not have enough power to print on a thermal printer. But this does not mean this thing is not good because it is. I was able to use this to power everything else I tried. My laptop and a lamp... i know not much... But if i try some other i will post here. I have charged my phone and of couse it works fine for that. It is of course not rapid charging.

Had high hopes for it. It does indeed store power for a few hours. The solar panel works well but the LCD on the battery bank goes wonky after a while. Flip it vertical it says 30% horizontal will show 80%. After a while it cannot even tell you how many volts it’s taking in. This makes it hard to gauge. The ideas there just needs a little work to be durable and reliable.Edit: it just gets worse as it goes. As soon as I flip it on the power starts to dump. Not holding charge anymore. Won’t take solar charge needs the wall plug. If I could drop the star rating to no stars I would. Very overpriced for the extremely low performance. If it was years old I’d understand. This thing barely passed the return window. Buyer beware.

This thing is a beast. After charging it to 100%, it has charged my laptop from 65% to 100%, then charged my iPhone 13 Pro and iPad simultaneously. After all that, it still has 20% to spare! It charges very fast with the included adapter and can handle the devices I have very well. It can charge a wide variety of devices and also has a 15V input. I’m going to plug it into my solar panel and see how it charges off of that. While it is in the $60 to $70 range, it is an exceptional value, as it has a large capacity and is quite versatile. It is larger than a lot of power banks out there, but recall that it has an AC outlet. I also love the screen that displays the remaining power. Overall, a very smart purchase.

Love love love this! It’s a lil bigger than I thought it would be but it’s perfect! It’s about the size of a box of Kleenex.

Okay, I had this thing for close to 2 months and used it EVERY DAY. so here it goes. The best way I found to optimize the performance is to be close to an outlet I'll explain later.1st it takes 6 hours to fully charge under DIRECT SUNLIGHT. The input power MUST BE above 13v or it will NOT charge. It will say that it's charging but once the sun goes down so does the battery. That is the most frustrating disappointing factor. It will NOT trickle charge on a cloudy day. I suspect that it takes 11v just to power up the led display. Like I said under 13v will NOT CHARGE THE INTERNAL BATTERY. NOW IT WILL charge your cell phone, laptop, power tool batteries, 13v and under on average of 3 to 5 hours. 8 hours of daylight so if under 13v you have no time left to charge the box.What I found the best usage is to fully charge the battery THEN keep your gadgets charged with the solar panel attached. And to make sure you keep an eye on the voltage. Cause THE DISPLAY IS VERY MISLEADING. For example say you are charging your cellphone late in the day. Dusk is approaching and the box reads 100%. The led reads 13v you need 2 hours to charge your phone. So for 45 min you have 13v but then as the sun fades the voltage drops BUT THE BOX STILL READS 100% WHILE YOUR PHONE IS CHARGING. Giving you a false sense of security. Now for the last 1.25 hours the voltage was lowered to 11v BUT THE BOX READS 100%. Soon as the sun fades over the horizon, your phone is fully charged. Turn off the output switch and the box starts rapidly dropping from 100% to whatever is left in the internal storage. Ya dig? The functionality is totally misleading. The storage charge indicator should decrease along with the usage, hence you wouldn't be blindsided.So to keep my devices charged at night I had to 1st charge the box then make sure I have direct sunlight above 11v and plug in. Once my devices are charged make sure to disconnect the devices and maintain 100% for emergency. THE BOX WILL NOT SIMULTANEOUSLY CHARGE ITSELF AND DEVICES UNLESS THE VOLTAGE IS15v or higher. It only reaches 16v.It is a sturdy little box. Lightweight very easy to carry. I don't like the flimsy power switch for the AC plug. I have dropped it from 2 to 3 feet and landed on a very hard surface at least 4 times now and it still fully functional. So kudos on the built.In my 2nd day when I found the battery to just rapidly drain & drop I wanted to return it. But I found it to be very useful as long as I'm close to an outlet. Now if I was camping I'd say NO WAY! NOT RELIABLE AT ALL. But for inner city backyard crafting power source. It'll do. Not the best and now the price has jumped I got it for around 60 bucks now it's 85. I say NOPE!! Put a few more coins together and get something more dependable. That's just my take hope it helps Fam. 1

Talk about packing a punch for the buck! First impressions were it is quite an odd color ( not a fan ) but that would have to be tbe ONLY negative part of this review.I received it very well packaged, internally..extremely well protected, it came fully charged ( thank you, as i needed to get out here to camp), I, being from Southwestern, Ontario; Canada, I spend 90% of my time at my deep woods off-grid campsite building my log cabin single handedly, and upon having my mini chainsaw battery die, this li'l bad boy jacked it into life within 15 minutes. Id watched 2 movies from my projector in my 16' Vevor Bell Tent as it's been raining for 2 days now, I've charged both cell phones, charged my 3 Irish Wolfhound's dogs 🐕 glowing collars, had my fan running along with my portable fridge going for 3 days and to just awoken to looking over and this beast is STILL sitting at 82%!!!REALLY? That is what I call a small but extremely mighty power horse!I'd planned on purchasing the eco3 unit, but decided on this as my son is looking into a smaller unit as such. I'd bought this for him intentionally... but now ill order 2 more ( 1 for each of my children ).I'm a happy camper 😆

Arrived on time. Perfect for my CPAP machine.

Hoping this would provide power in the field for my studies. But unit easily switches on in backpacks and duffles. Has never really worked in the field. Always depleted when needed. I like the colour though! And works when I test at home. Even taking the on off switch didn’t work. Because there are 2 on off switches!!
