ALWAYS USE OEM, Don't settle for Imation's that may or may not work to specifications!
Learned a long time ago that OEM is the only way to go for fit, long endurance and cost effectiveness.

Stick with the Brother product.
Arrived promptly. Much more expensive than the ‘knock offs’ but my printer has been flawless so I stayed with the Brother brand . It was very simple to install and is working perfectly. I’m sure I will have several years of carefree printing.

Great OEM Item for your printer; Don't cheap out!
When I ran out of ink, I knew who to go to. The print quality is great, so was the installation. Smudges are rare if present, ink capacity is plentiful, and page speed is quick.

Genuine Brother Toner
I'm always leery buying toner cartridges from Amazon, but this was a legitimate Brother TN830XL toner cartridge. No issues with the print quality. I also didn't have any issues with mess when switching out the old cartridge.

These cartridges last a very long time!
These cartridges will last a very long time. I bought the printer a year and a half ago, and it came with a cartridge with less ink in it than this one. That one lasted a very long time, even after I received the "low on ink" warning. Then I bought this one. It's been in my printer for at least 6 months now, and still going strong. And I have a home-based business and print quite a bit. I highly recommend this product.

Why are so many printers terrible?
My brother printer was the highest rated, yet I hate it. It’s always going to sleep, hard to wake up, loses WiFi connection constantly. It had an error message about the toner cartridge. I replaced with a generic, which wouldn’t work bc brother wants you to buy their brand, so I did. It turns out the drum needs to be replaced. Its warrantee only lasts for 90 days. So I bought a new cartridge for nothing. The previous cartridge leaked toner.
