Absolutely love this set. This was my first time ever using packing cubes and I wanted to try the compression ones for my carry-on luggage since I wasn’t checking a bag. They worked perfectly. I had to be careful not to pack too much because my bag would get too heavy! Really helped organize and made packing so easy.

They work best with just a few items packed in each. Over stuffing just makes them rounder and takes up more space. Good for organizing your carry on bag. Would recommend for organizing or grouping like items.

These packing cubes really compress so you can pack lots of clothes in a small area. Easy to use and they seem to be very sturdy. Look forward to using them in upcoming travel.

Perfect for organizing your suitcase for vacation

I used these cubes on a trip across the country last week. They worked very well. They saved space in my suitcase, one that meets the smaller European specifications for a carry-on bag, and they kept my clothes organized and, a little surprisingly, unwrinkled.I fit 7 pairs of pants in the large cube; 4 tops and a tank top in one medium cube and 4 tops in the second medium cube; and 8 underwear, 2 bras, and 7 pairs of socks in the small cube. They all closed with little effort, although I was extra careful to make sure no material got caught in the compression zipper. My soft-sided suitcase didn't bulge at all. The bags were easy to pull from the suitcase and carry because of the handles. The reasonable price makes them a no-brainer for the traveler who is limited to fitting everything into only a carry-on bag and a personal item.

I have mixed feelings about these bags. PROS: They do compress your clothes. In the large, I was able to compress two pairs of jeans and two denim maxi skirts. And was able to fit several t-shirts and sweaters in others. It was also nice to have one dedicated bag for underclothing. I think these would work for the well seasoned traveler who has their packing down to an art form or always packs using the capsule wardrobe principle. CONS: You have to “Ranger Roll” your clothes prior to cubing them and then it may take two people to close: one to zip and the other to push down on cube so zipper can make it all the way around. Another problem was that I could never remember in what cube my items were in. I KNOW they come with cardboard inserts to label each cube, but I didn’t want to write on them because we travel often and depending on season, I may use every cube for a different type of clothing. “Bottoms” won’t always be the big bag and “Tops” might not always be in the medium bags. Not a deal breaker and I KNOW I can just make my own labels, but it was just a minor inconvenience.
