Tymate TM7 RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System, TPMS Set of 4 Sensors

This is a brilliant little device. I've owned higher end TPMS systems which we used on our RVs. We bought this one for our Honda CRV which only has the dash icon for a tire pressure issue with no details. This monitors pressure and temperature and could not be easier to install. Took only a few minutes. No set up. No calibration. It just turns on and works. It showed me my tires were over-inflated after a visit to a repair shop. In a few minutes got everything to factory specs before a long trip tomorrow. Looks good. Bright, easy to see. Compact size. The sensors are labeled so you can tell which goes on which wheel. And at 10% of the cost of the higher end units. Really nice TPMS.

Easy to use and install. Full time monitoring of air pressure and accurate. With the crazy cost of gas keeping your tires inflated will pay you back big time in gas savings and tire ware.

Recently used these on my travel trailer. During a road trip. Wireless worked like it should. It Displays the psi in each tire. Didn't really mess with all the functions. But works for me. Installation was a breeze

I purchased this system last February for my camper. Since it's single axle, being aware of the tire status is very important, so this looked like a good option to monitor tire pressure and temperature. I installed and configured the sensors and everything looked good. Accurate pressure, etc. I put two of the sensors on the back tires of my truck and the other two on my camper. Distance between the camper sensors and the receiver in the truck is a little over 20 ft. These are supposed to be fine for 36 feet. Then we hit the road to the campground. About an hour into the drive, the right side trailer sensor just went away....nothing....nada. Then about half and hour later, the other trailer sensor went away. When we left the campground for home, the trailer sensors were working again, but again failed in about the same amount of time. I contacted Tymate support and they asked me to document the failure, so I sent them a video from our next camping trip where the sensors failed in the same way, which is included in this review. After a few email exchanges and suggestions like replacing batteries, moving the receiver closer to the sensors, and resetting the sensor connection, they suggested I might need a repeater. The repeater cost more than I paid for the Tymate system. I suggested they send me one to see if that resolved the problem, but they declined. Then, after putting the camper away in the shed, while putting the truck away, I noticed the the trailer sensors were now displaying tire pressure and temperature for the camper tires....and the camper was on the other side of the property. This product is unreliable, gives false readings, and sometimes no readings at all. Look elsewhere for a TPM. Don't trust this one. Update: 6/7/2026 Tymate Support and sent me the booster transmitter to see if it solved the sensor problem. I installed it as directed on the axle between the back wheels of the camper. On our recent trip, the trailer sensors did not go away as before. Obviously, the range of the sensors is significantly exaggerated. If It will not work on my small 16 ft. camper, it should not be sold without the booster. There are other misrepresentations in the item description. It does NOT have a "Sensor Disconnected System". It never indicates loss of sensor data...it just shows you the last data it got. The tire could fall off and you wouldn't know it. The item information also states that the tire pressure is 0-144 psi. Support informed me that max was 87 psi. It is NOT a "Real-time Tire Pressure Monitor System". I have removed it from my vehicle and camper. It does NOT work as marketed.

Audi should be ashamed that the 2021 “premium plus” S5 Sportback had no OEM direct TPMS onboard. Even my 2017 TRD Tacoma has a r/t measurement display on all 4’s!! But I just bought the car - and it is love. I looked at the programmable add-ons that use the factory harness and MMI. I didn’t care about the $300 - and even adding new sensors - but the PITA of snaking it all in and programming it with a scanner was a bit much. Then I looked at these aftermarket offerings. This one caught my eye due to the 12v plug on its case. Too bad the socket that Audi planted in the console didn’t quite have rnough room around it. But the optional USB connections worked fine. The sensor caps are not as big and clumsy as others Ive seen - and the display is well lit and compact. It all worked “out of the box” with no setup required. I first confirmed my tires were perfectly inflated to the precise pressure, threaded on the sensor caps, and went inside my car to start it up. Within 0-10 seconds of power on - all 4 tires were displaying PSI, temp, and position ID. This was all less than $40. If they last, this kit will be a very good deal. These low profile tires cannot risk under inflation. I recommend this kit over all the competitors offerings

Works great in a vehicle without a monitoring system. Easy to install.

Thus product worked flawlessly. Gave correct readings on tire pressure and temperature. We are very pleased. Gave us peace of mind. Easy to use.

Great little sensor. It has already saved me on a slow leak. I like that the display is nice and bright. I also like that it defaults to PSI. I want to know if I buy a second one for my truck will it conflict with my trailer receiver? Another good feature is that it doesn't have to be in the sun.
