Been using the TP-Link Archer TX20U and honestly it’s been very good so far.Setup was quick, just plugged it in and installed the drivers, no hassle. Connection has been stable and noticeably faster compared to my old adapter. WiFi signal strength is solid even when I’m not right next to the router.I’ve used it for work, streaming, and gaming and it’s been consistent with no random dropouts or lag spikes. It also doesn’t overheat or feel like it’s struggling, even with long use.Overall, really happy with it. Simple plug-and-play adapter that just works well without any issues.

Excellent little adapter that does exactly what it’s supposed to. I bought this to work around the 1Gb limitation on my HP dock and it worked perfectly — instantly giving me a 2.5Gb ethernet connection over USB-C with no fuss.Setup was basically plug-and-play and it was recognised immediately. The build quality feels solid and the adapter stays stable even under heavy network use. Speeds have been consistent and it’s been completely reliable so far.It’s also tiny enough to throw in a bag without worrying about it, which is a nice bonus.As someone who runs a bit of a home lab, it’s great finding a simple solution that unlocks extra performance without replacing half your hardware. Works well, I was able to achieve 850mbps (from a 950mbps subscription) on a 9yr old desktop but expect to hunt around for the drivers and endless tweaking to get the best receptionOne star off because...1. Pointless cellophane wraps on the ariels, impossible to remove by hand, easy to scratch using a knife.2. Useless instructions - zero guidance on ariel position (TP have this online)3. W11 doesnt recognise it, no driver supplied in the box, PC doesn't have internet to download it - they haven't thought it through.I tried to add a 2m USB extension for better placement but this cut the speed back to 235mbs, stick to the 1m cable in the box. TP say best placement is at same height as the router with antenna at 45degrees.

Been using this for a few weeks now and it has worked very well. It was a simple plug it in and install the drivers to get it working. I have had no signal drop-outs or any issues with it. I had tried another brand of USB wi-fi adapter but it get dropping the signal, it was like the device was being unplugged and then plugged back in. My download speeds have improved compared to the previous wi-fi adaptor and powerline adaptors I was using.My router is on the ground floor at the front of the house and I'm using the TP-Link AX1800 in a room on the first floor at the back. Overall I would recommend this USB wi-fi adaptor.UPDATE:Bought a new mini PC with Windows 11 Pro and, unfortunately, this adapter just doesn't work well. Download speeds would vary between 0.1 and 30 (my max) at random, the device would disconnect and reconnect to USB. I updated the drivers to no avail. The device still works on my Windows 10 PC. I have noticed that my Bros Trend AC3 adapter has a specific driver for Windows 11 so it may just be a driver issue the TP-Link need to fix.

When i first got this device it was working very well. Reaching 900mbps constantly, the limit of my network speed.It worked so well i bought a second device. For 12 months i've had no problems at all.Now however, for the last week both devices seem to have been capped at 300mpbs with frequent 5-10 second drops in performance. If it was one device it was happening, i'm put it down to a fault. As both of them started doing it at exactly the same time I can only put this down to either terrible hardware or intentionally designed to reduce performance after a set period to encourage people to re-buy.Sadly, this is not the first tp-link devices i have had this happen with. Their support is somewhat useless and blame my house for "changing", which is complete rubbish.I know there is nothing wrong with my router/internet/pcs since I bought an adapter from another company and it is easily hitting 800mbps, where running a test on this right after still couldn't get above 300mbps.Only buy this if you are prepared to get a new/replacement within a short period of time.

After disabling my onboard WiFi card, I plugged it in to a USB C to USB 3.0 adapter to plug into a USB A port on the front of my desktop PC . Initially, Ethernet connected but then kept dropping connection. After checking the Ethernet properties in the Network section on my PC, I discovered that the TP-Link UE302C was only achieving 100mbps. I checked my CCleaner driver update page and discovered an updated driver and so I downloaded and updated it. The stability issues disappeared, but the speed was still capped at 100mbps. I then after carrying out an internet search, discovered that the Speed & Duplex setting in Advanced settings, was not configured correctly. I set it to 2.5Gbps Full Duplex and Hey Presto! the Ethernet adapter was now operating at full capability. This information will be useful to some, so please be aware.All in all, a well made piece of kit at reasonable cost. Easy to set up when you are aware of the operating settings. The great thing about this UE302C, is that I can swap it between desktop PC, Laptop, iPhone etc.

It gives you WiFi, I have gigabit Internet and get 500mbps through this adapter from around 5 or 10 meters, sometimes it has ping spikes sometimes it doesn't, it's ok

I previously used a TP-Link dongle which looked like a small USB thumb drive, and got 52Mbps down and 51Mbps up, and a 17ms ping with that (ISP is Sky). My PC is upstairs, my router downstairs in a cupboard. I plugged in the TP-Link Archer, installed updated drivers found online, and now get a constant 307Mbps down and the same 51Mbps up with a 16ms ping. Obviously this has better antennas (my earlier dongle had none) which seems to help. Highly recommended, not had any issues with it in over a year of use for gaming and general intenet/work stuff.

Mijn nieuwe Ziggo router ondersteund WIFI6 en nu deze TP-Link WIFI6adapter aangeschaft en werkelijk, wat een verschil; eindelijk snelle en goede ontvangst, 1 verdieping hoger en nog 95% vd snelheid van het internet abonnement zonder extra pod's. Nu is Microsoft Teams ook weer snel en zonder haperingen.
