ok for food service
Steel toe is recommended at my food service job and I've had to use it on occasion with no issue. I stepped on a nail too but it didn't pierce my foot so thank goodness. I've had these 8 months now and they're still holding up. Bits of food do get stuck in the mesh on top and I end up tossing them in the washer and air drying them every 2 weeks. They do smell from the food but I have a shoe spray to keep the smell to a minimum. I got these at a real bargain ($10) but I might get a different brand next time. I'll keep these until then.

The soles are plastic instead of something grippy, the toe box is narrow (this is the only pair of shoes that I have fit me as narrow), and the shoes still feel inflexible after 4 hours of walking. Stiff and uncomfortable, this purchase feels like a mistake. The price was nice, but the shoes feel unwearable.

Very good safety shoes, durable, breathe well, however not water proof
Great pair of shoes, I've been wearing them daily for a year, and they've lasted well. They're very breathable, so no smell after a long day, very comfortable even for long-walks. I use them as regular foot-wear--can't say many other safety shoes qualify. Haven't tested dropping anything heavy, so I hope they're actually functional as safety shoes--God forbid, should there be an accident!

Muy cómodos. Muy buenos para cualquier trabajo que requiere de un poco más de protección: construcción, veterinaria de campo, montacargas. No solo son útiles pero también muy atractivos.
