SKOUT'S HONOR Fresher Breath Water Additive for Dogs and Cats, 32 oz

This water additive is such an easy way to help with my dogs’ dental care without having to brush their teeth every day. I like that it’s flavorless, so it can simply be added to their water without making them reluctant to drink. The fact that it’s VOHC-accepted for tartar control is reassuring, and I’ve noticed their breath smells fresher and their tartar is abating with regular use. The 16-ounce bottles are a good size, and getting two in the pack means the supply lasts quite a while. Considering the convenience and how simple it is to incorporate into their routine, it’s a great value for the money.

This is working well for my dogs. I have a chihuahua who has most of his teeth removed, and can no longer have any dental chews. My dogs have no problem with the scent and haven't had any issues with drinking it. As an extra added bonus this additive remove the hard water rings on the water bowl!! You know it can help with the tartar on your dog's teeth.

I’ve been pretty happy with SKOUT'S HONOR Fresher Breath Water so far. I decided to try it because I saw that it was listed as one of the VOHC-approved products, and I wanted something to help with my dog’s bad breath and overall dental care. Before this, I was using another brand, but I didn’t like that it kept causing a reddish buildup in my dog’s water jug and bowl. Since switching to this one, I haven’t noticed anything like that when I clean and refill her bowl and bottle, which has been a big plus for me. Another good thing is that my dog didn’t seem to have any issue with the switch. She drank it without hesitation, which made the change easy. Overall, it seems like a good product if you’re looking for something to help with breath and dental care without the messy residue I experienced with another brand.

Seems to be working

It claims to be flavorless, but my dog would rather be dehydrated than drink this. I've been trying it for months. In the beginning, he didn't like it but with nothing else to drink, he eventually did. But he isn't drinking as much as he wants to or should. And now that summer is nearly here, I'm starting to get concerned. I'll put down a fresh bowl with this in it, he smells it and walks away. Then I'll put down a fresh bowl with nothing in it, and he'll drink for a minute straight. I've even tried putting less of it in his bowl and he still won't drink it. So apparently he's been enjoying being dehydrated and having 5-7 teeth pulled per year rather than drink this water to avoid that.

It works! I noticed the difference in my dogs teeth after the fist bottle. Now I make sure to use it every time I fill the water dish.

My daughter's vet suggested this water additive. Too early to tell if it makes a difference for their teeth, it does give them fresh breath and no problem with my two eleven-year-old boys drinking the water. I got the non-flavored.

So far so good. My chorkie girls 8 years old have some plaque buildup so I have tried other water additives but because their sense of smell is so strong they wouldn't drink it. I will only purchase vet approved additives for them. My pickiest girl is drinking the water, and of course her sister is too. I only put 5-6 drops in the water then add a ice cube. They only have a 8 Oz bowl so I feel this is sufficient. They have had no side effects with their stomachs ect. I do highly recommend this product.
