Probably one of the few very rare times where if I could give more than 5 stars I truly would. I have bought multiple styles of outdoor solar lights through the past years and some gave been great, some not so great but none, NONE have been perfect. Each had at least one detriment or annoying detail. Until now. Although the home I purchased is located within downtown of a city, it sits semi secluded on its own hidden down a gravel road. The road itself is hard to find and mine is the only house back it surrounded by woods. Originally there are 2 street lights, one in front, one in back that worked. Neither now lights up dependably leaving my yard in utter darkness. I installed solar lighting pretty much everywhere but along the fencing bordering my side yard. I work long hours graveyard shift and walk home from my shuttle while still dark. Got tired of stumbling my way up my front yard in the dark so I looked at tons of styles and reviews before choosing these. So glad I got these! They are motion activated so they dont light up until I walk past. They can be set to stay on longer if wanted. Had these installed a week now and so far theyve held charge until daylight every night. I mounted them on the top rail of my chain fencing and as such they throw light wide across my yard and off to each side. The best part: honestly by far the BRIGHTEST lights Ive ever owned. I got the cool white choice. The first time I came home and walked past I was almost blinded by the brightness and it took me aback for a second for I was not expecting it. Most solar lights have a dimness compared to say hardwired electric. You would swear these are hardwired. They have a very short delay of turning off once motion stops being detected.They are also extremely reasonably priced considering how awesome they are. They are also supposedly decently weather proofed and I can honestly agree as so far this week theyve encountered snow,slushy icey snow, icey rain, high winds, and torrential downpour rain. Each unit is still completely dry all around. They also seem durable and well built, not cheap and chintzy. I decided to return and purchase a few more sets. The only factor I have yet to discover is overall durability on length of time they last. Although at how low priced if I get a full year I'll be content.

I’m pretty frugal and I don’t buy things impulsively, so I did a lot of research before choosing solar lights. I compared several options and these ended up being the best fit for me overall. ✨✨ Update after continued use: These have now been through cold weather, rain, and even warmer days, and they’re still working just as well as when I first installed them. That consistency has really impressed me. ✨✨ Installation was incredibly easy — I mounted them directly onto my wooden privacy fence in just a few minutes. No wiring, no hassle. I really appreciate that they’re solar powered because it saves money long-term and I don’t have to think about electricity costs. The light coverage is great and the motion sensor works well. My backyard looks so pretty at night now, but more importantly it feels much safer. They’re bright when they need to be and not blinding, just a clean daylight white that lights the space evenly. For the price, the quality has honestly held up better than I expected — especially after weeks of changing weather ✨ They feel solid, handle weather well, and actually perform the way they’re advertised. I’m very happy with this purchase and would absolutely buy them again. I will come back to add a photo of my yard at night!

Amazing lights. Have had them installed in my backyard for about 3 years now and they have worked flawlessly. I was skeptical at first but am totally happy with them. They have been through extreme summer heat, 100+ degrees, and extreme winter cold, -20 degrees, and still are as bright as the day purchased. The rechargeable batteries are hanging in there.

These lights put out a good amount of light and have a nice wide angle, which works great for coverage around the house. Installation was straightforward and they’ve been working well for about a year. The only downside is the motion sensor doesn’t always pick up movement if you’re farther away, and the light only stays on for about 30 seconds with no way to adjust the timing. Still a solid option overall.

I noticed the quality right away when I saw how it was packed the light was secured in Hardy foam wrapping. I didn’t need any instructions to figure out how to use it. I did not want to screw it into the fence. It comes with all the hardware but instead use Velcro adhesive tape. It’s only been two days and the Velcro adhesive tape hasn’t moved a bit. I like the fact that there are three adjustment settings, one for just motion light that stays on about 25 seconds when someone or something walks by, and all night setting at 10% battery reduction so it’s not bright light but enough to see, and all night at bright light. Wipe down the solar panel because if it gets covered with dust or dirt or leaves, it dims the ability to capture their son.. These are easily adjustable highly sensitive to movement and easily installed. There were six in the package and I’m planning on buying six more to even out the yard definitely five star rating!

These are great little solar lights for steps, decks, or anywhere you need a compact mounted light. I installed mine along steps and they provide plenty of light without being bulky or noticeable during the day. They’re small and easy to mount, and installation took just a few minutes. Even though they’re compact, they’re surprisingly bright. I also like that they have three different settings with 2 brightness levels. Overall they seem well-made, charge well in the sun, and give off a lot of light for their size. I’d definitely buy them again for other areas like my deck or walkway.

Boy, these solar powered lights can be hit or miss. The Aootek Motion Sensor Lights were a hit! I installed there about 8-10 feet high on the side of my brick house. The driveway runs right along the side of the house with the neighbors house on the other side. It can be dark alley. But with these lights, my driveway is nicely lit up when I am outside or returning from a drive. Also a passive security system because they'll sense movement and I can see it from my living room window. Usually a bug or bird that sets them off. Cons: -small in size -difficult to understand the modes -not the nicest looking? But who cares they work well! That's it. Pros: -easy to install. -remarkanly consistent and dependable. They work every time. Maybe because they only turn on when motion is sensed. But there hasn't been a night where they haven't turned on. And the light level is always the same. I have a different make and model of solar lights for the sidewalk that are always on. That was a poor choice for me because unless they get max sunlight, they won't last the night. Usually are dead by early morning. Brightness. The wall they're mounted on is probably 15-20 feet so four of them light up the adjacent area and driveway more that adequately. -pretty cool how one will turn on, then the next, then the next and so forth as I move down the driveway. They stay on long enough to safely walk down the driveway. -they have a few different modes but I honestly don't know how to set them up. They cycle by pressing a small button. There's really no way to know which mode is set though. -the motion sensor is very sensitive! And can detect motion from narrow angles.

Got to give one star just to write a review. Never had I bought any solar light that doesn’t even last 3 months. Well, this one will be my first, 4 out of 6 have water in it and 2 out of 6 just stopped working. I placed 3 of it under the gazebo and 2 still managed to have water inside the case. I always bought this brand and never have this issue before. So, I’m not sure if it makes by the same company or it has changed but definitely not the same anymore. I took pictures so, everyone can see it side by side day/night. UPDATE! Given 4 stars for company own up to the waterproof mistake ! I’m giving this company 4 stars for accepting the mistake with water getting inside the product. As I mentioned previously, I do love this brand and always buy them, because they’re the best out there with reasonable price. I never have any problems with water getting into them before until this one. The light is bright, work great and it just the right size. The only problem is that water can get into it. The company gave me back the money and promised to look into the waterproof case problem. I owns many of this brand in my backyard and many of them still working after many years without changing the batteries. They told me that this is a small company and I always support small business. One mistake not going wiped out all the good one that they had before. I’m giving them more chance with the new and improved one for upcoming summer. I hope by the time summer comes around they will have a better one with a real waterproof case, so I can buy it and replace them in the same spots.
