Classic Bean Bag Chair for Kids Bedroom and Reading Nook, Easy-Clean Sapphire, Durable Nylon Polyester Blend, 2 feet Refillable

We've had this bean bag for 2yrs now, and the shell itself has held up very well. We bought it for our now 7yr old daughter, and as you can see by all of these pics, it has been dragged and used all around our house and for many different reasons since she was 5. It's not as full as it looks in the description picture, which is disappointing, but that hasn't bothered her and has been just fine for her short and slim size at 48 inches, and 45 lbs. Our older tween who is 5'5 has even used it at times, but I honestly wouldn't recommend this for that age unless you plan on filling it full of extra beans. We've had no issues with harsh chemical smells or thing's staining the outer shell, and our daughter is a pretty messy kiddo. The outer shell is made of a slick, shiny material that's easy to wipe clean with a wet towel. It's not a furry fabric type of material that needs to be laundered, which is a plus for our purpose, and is the main thing this bag has going for it. We love that she's been able to easily carry or drag this thing around on her own, and is one of the main reasons she wanted one. This item is one of the good ole Big Joe bean bags that we were looking for, and for that I'm happy. Because this is not very full and the beans themselves are pretty lightweight, it's easy to store and travel with if needed, as well. The only negative thing I can say about this beanbag, and for some it might be a pretty big negative, is that it's not as full as we'd hoped. Especially as time goes on. You can always buy and add additional beans, but we just never did get around to buying more, and I really didn't think we needed to spend additional money for an item to look as advertised. Nor should we have to. We are still pleased with this purchase however, especially for our purpose of purchasing, and because our daughter has genuinely enjoyed it, and used it. The fact that it's lower to the ground and doesn't offer much support due to not being full, makes this 98 inch size ideal for younger kiddos. I would recommend buying a larger size for teens or adults, or buying those additional beans to add, because the size of the shell itself, is a perfect size. Been looking everywhere for an actual bean bag, finally found this one and decided to buy it. Not bad; material’s thick so it seems durable and I believe it’s washable. Good size, and just right for what I was looking for. I like sitting on the floor and don’t like the restrictions of being stuck in one place as with a chair, so a bean bag seemed fit. What I like about this bean bag is that’s it’s easy to mold into what you want. Fast delivery; just arrived today. Was excited and placed it in my room right away. Came in my room a few minutes ago to sit on it and found a bead... not a good sign, but couldn’t find a hole it came out of. For now... it’s a 5/5. *UPDATE May 26,2018* So it’s been 25 days since I first got my bean bag. Sadly, I returned it yesterday. Didn’t hold up since the first time I got it. No longer plump and supportive as seen in the earlier pictures. When sitting on it, you’d be able to feel the floor below you. Lost its shape. Still want a bean bag, so I’ll probably be putting my money towards a foam bean bag instead.

First, I would like to say my daughter loves her chair. That being said, she weights 27 lbs and does not jump or play rough with the chair and it is already splitting at the seams. We haven't added extra filling so the chair is not over stuffed. We have white Styrofoam balls coming out from multiple places. I was going to try to sew it back together but... the filling isn't in anything but the fabric so really I would have to take ALL of it out in order to sew the chair. I'm not sure it is worth the mess. Just not impressed with the quality of the chair.

This bean bag is okay, however, Big Joe's customer Service is a joke. My wife is a teacher and we ordered several bean bag chairs for her room. They all busted within a year with little use. I emailed the company several times and never received a single response.

We bought this for my 6 yr old daughter as a bday present at the end of September. Within 2 months it's already ripped at the seam. This hasn't been sat on daily nor has it been abused. We even had to take out a bunch of beans upon arrival because it comes over stuffed. This alone isn't an issue, we saved them for when the current ones would become compressed, but that won't happen because it's already ripped. I've contacted customer support, but so far 3 working days and there's been no response, not even an automated one saying they received my info. They require a picture of your receipt, order number, picture of the damage, picture of the bean bag, and picture of the attached tag with product description which were all sent... but silence so far. I've read that a lot of buyers sewed the product themselves, but the fact that this happens so often and so soon after purchasing it, leads me to believe it's just a poorly made product. Prior to the damage, my daughter really really liked it. She said it was comfortable and was easy enough for her to move around the room.

I was so happy to find a sturdy bean bag chair for my little girls birthday. This bean bag looked like it was double stitched faux leather fabric. We have had so many problems with squash mellows busting at the seams so I wanted a sturdy bean bag. Then, I take it out of the box and there is a whole section of the bean bag that is this stretchy thin material. It was her birthday so I gave it to her anyway and hoped for the best. It busted along the seam within 2 hours of her having it. The pictures do not share that section of the bean bag nor do they advertise it. I don't even understand why you would go through all the trouble of making a sturdy bean bag to include a section that is so flimsy. I bought a patch for it and I hope it works. But for parents with active children, this is not the bean bag for you.

I wish I could give it zero stars. I purchased this beanbag chair expecting it to be a cozy and durable addition to my child’s room, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. The very first time my child sat down on it, the seams split open, spilling beans everywhere. Not only was this a choking hazard for my younger child, but it also created an enormous mess that took hours to clean up. The fabric and stitching appear to be of extremely poor quality—clearly not designed to withstand even light use. For a product marketed as a beanbag chair for kids, it’s shocking how flimsy and poorly constructed it is. I can’t believe I wasted my money on something so cheaply made. This was a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and invest in a beanbag from a reputable brand that prioritizes safety and durability. Absolutely not worth the hassle or the frustration.

My 3 year old adores this product. It has helped him to calm down and read books at bedtime. He has also taken to running and leaping on it, and so far it has held up (it's been about 2 weeks). It's small, but I can sit in it comfortably too (not beside my son, though).

I purchased two of these, one for each of my daughters and they love them. I did find that they were both very different upon arrival. One almost seems like it was used and then returned because it is broken in and very soft. The second one I received is very firm and almost unusable. But they are both well made and they are very durable. I have wiped them down after a few snacks have been enjoyed in them, and they do wipe clean.
