5 stars because the actual lotion is amazing, this is the only lotion that made the insane itch I had go away, BUT the bottle on the other hand is really poorly made, both bottles I bought I had issues with trying to use the pump

If you are being treated for something and having some kind of chemo therapy and experiencing itchy skin this lotion can slow or even stop the itch for a few hours. It worked like a miracle for me. I also use a medical version which is sold as a packet of large skin wipes (McKesson WPW48). The wipes reach places you cannot reach by hand. If you live alone and have itchiness on your back the wipes version may be better because they can be stretched and pulled across your back like a shower towel. Both the lotion and the wipes stop itchiness nearly instantly and are a Godsend!From my experience the wipes can be used anywhere on the body but the lotion would build up and cause a mess that needs to be washed off eventually, but the wipes don't have that problem. The wipes look and feel like large unscented baby wipes. Ask your pharmacist how to order since they come from McKesson.

OMG! This Anti-itch Lotion is FABULOUS! I'm very prone to bug BITES, which often makes my entire body itch. The minute I put Sarna Anti-Itch Lotion on, I felt relief for the first time in a week! Was looking for an alternative to Benadryl Extra Strength Anti-itch Gel because no matter how much I used, my itching came back every hour. Benadryl Gel is also toxic if you use too much. But Sarna Calm & Cool Anti Itch Lotion is the bomb! .You won't regret it!!

I get really really terrible heat rash every summer. All over my arms, hands, up to my shoulders, and this year patches on my legs and chest.I have tried pretty much EVERYTHING.Every standard hydrocortisone cream did nothing. Every eczema/rash lotion, nothing.Then I found the old Aveeno cream that had Pramoxine in it. Relief.And then it got discontinued.That is so upsetting because I think the oats and other stuff in it was helpful.But this is the only reasonably priced pramoxine lotion I've found.Once all the blisters burst/get cleaned out it leaves really dry patches, so I need some sort of cream, but the really thick heavy barrier lotions make me itch twice as hard.I do like the menthol. It feels really calming especially because the rash is physically hot to the touch.This however is definitely not a body lotion. It's a bit too heavy and thick for that. So medicated purposes only.It helps. It helps better than anything else I've found.Unfortunately though, when it wears off, I have to scrub off the last layer before putting more on, and I mean scrub in the sink or shower. I can't just take it off with a wet wipe. Adding more on top just agitates it and makes it thicker and it starts pilling/flaking.But it is the only thing that provides any kind of relief. My arms feel cooler, the blisters are better, and there's fewer "bumps" but it's not a good enough standard lotion to care for the dry patches left behind, and I can't risk aggravating it with regular lotion.This is honestly just the best option I have until the weather and my apartment temperature cools down.The itching on my legs fortunately isn't getting too out of hand since I started using it, and I'm so grateful for that.I wish there was a better option, but there's not. Even on other reviews a lot of people with the same issue ended up returning to this one.For now its the best one I can get my hands on.If you have severe heat rash this is probably the one you want. If you've found a better one, please tell me, but also, price-wise this is the most accessible one as well.

Works to stop the itching. Annoying as the pump never worked, and makes it annoying to use.

This was an amazing help after I was beset by midges.I will ALWAYS have this on hand.
