Green Lawn Dog Treats Help Lessen Brown Spots
My dog likes these duck-flavored treats! I like that they are not medicine; rather, they are made up of natural ingredients like cranberry that are helpful in the urinary tract. Since our lawn has always had brown spots from our spayed female dogs' urine, I thought it was worth a try. How are the results? My backyard definitely looked greener and healthier this summer. I think it will take time to assess the full result, but so far, I have been pleased. It's now winter in Colorado, so our lawn is dormant, but we're still giving our dog, Abby, the Green Lawn treats because she loves them, and they're good for a dog's GI system!

They work
I was skeptical if this product would work but we are on our 2nd bottle and it seems to have worked. I started giving him 2 chews in his food at every feeding for a week to make sure there were no issues and now we do 3 chews with each meal ( 2x daily) We no longer have brown spots in our yard!! My dog loves these and eats them with with no issues but prepare yourself bc they have a strong scent!

Scent is horrific but dogs love them, but do they work?
Ok, I really wanted these to work. Most reviews say they did. I am on my second tub of these chews but I'm not getting the results I was hoping for. I have 2 dogs, both weigh between 55 and 60 pounds. The dose is 4 chews. I giving them 2 at a time split between morning and evening feedings. Maybe they need to be administered all at once? Maybe? Although there do seem to be less brown spots in my lawn, I'm definitely still having a problem. Both of my dogs are male and the lab mix does the usual squirt and go. But the other, a goldendoodle, empties his tank in one spot. Both dogs have preferred areas to go potty so I'm able to monitor the effectiveness a little better. It seems that the spots caused by the lab are diminishing, but still burns some blades of grass but those fill back in over time. The lawn still gets the usual brown spots courtesy of the goldendoodle. They love these chews and consider them high value treats. The smell is pungent which makes them more appetizing, I suppose. The lab had a little diarrhea for a few days after I started feeding these, but it cleared up fine. No other obvious side effects. I've asked if the chews should be given all at one time or if the dose needs to be split. Haven't received clarification. Perhaps I need to change the way I dose them to get better effectiveness.

It actually works!
I hardly write reviews... but I feel like these deserve one. I adopted my first rescue puppy a couple months ago, and she was OBSESSED with eating her poop! With this being my first time being a dog owner, I was shocked and appalled, also concerned with her re-infecting herself with worms. I purchased these and soon after she showed less and less interest I'm her poo, to the point where she hardly sniffed at it before moving on. I ran out a couple weeks ago, and guess what, she is fine dining on doo doo again. I just had to wipe poop that was caked in between her back molars out with a cloth today, so I was so very excited when they finally showed up on our doorstep! For a minute there, i wasnt even sure if it was the treats or perhaps she just lost interest in her poop over time. But now im certain it was the treats. The ONLY downside is the amount you need to administer per weight group. She's 5 months old and I'm having to give her 4 a day for her current weight. But since I KNOW these work, I don't want to try another brand. Plus the price point is decent compared to other brands. For me, this is totally worth it. I'm not down with poo munching and the anxiety it gives me having to keep a close eye on her to make sure she isn't sneaking a stoolsicle in a dark corner somewhere.

Formulation changed
I’ve been using this product for at least 6 months on my 3 dogs with great success. Stools had been good, two of my dogs who had been bad poop eaters really curtailed the behavior. As of Feb 2025, something has changed with the formula and instead of the chews being a dark brown, they’re a light tan. They previously had a cayenne peppery smell, now they don’t. Now all 3 of my dogs have soft stools and the two are back to eating any and all poop. Back to the drawing board of finding a new product. So disappointed because this was working so well.

My dogs love these! Seems to work for yellow spots
These seem to be helping the yellow spots in my yard! I have a male dog that pees on all my plants and grass, so got these to save the plants. The dogs love them so I guess the flavor is good, although I have not personally eaten one. Lol :) Honestly I don't know if I'll order them year round as I live where it gets cold and plants go dormant. I am likely to order during the growing season next year as they do seem to be helping! I have two dogs about 80 pounds each and I've been giving them 4-6 a day.
