Feels sturdy, not sure if it is full tang, didn't come sharp. It looks really good and its nice. Just not what I was expecting from reading other reviews also has bo hi I thought it was without and the balance point is about two inches up from Suba or suka or guard not sureof you say in Japanese

over all i am quite pleased withit. is could be a little sharper and a little higher quality, the weight is good and it looks good. so over all i like it a lot

Updated review: JIHPEN sword customer service took care of this misunderstanding in a very timely manner and I couldn't ask for better service. I highly recommend their company and I myself will do business with them again the next time I purchase a similar product. I ordered the 22" Tanto. The Measurements that are in the description says the blade length is 22", but the overall length of the tanto with it still in the sheath and including the handle measures only 20 3/4" long.

This is a solid short sword! High quality materials for sure. Good strong grip and nice sleek look. It’s extremely sharp! This would make a for a fun toy or as display. I plan on pairing with a similar longer sword and displaying together on the wall. Very cool!

I am collector of cool swords. I have Cloudhammer katanas, very expensive stuff, like over 1000 CAD each. This tanto was supposed to be a "beater" tanto. Read all the reviews and still didn't think much and just ordered one since it was so well priced. Now, for all blade aficionados out there, Jihpen beats almost all of my expensive swords in terms of quality of workmanship, focus on details, zero scratches, no imperfections, tight fittings, pristine blade, tight fitting into tsuka, no rattle, etc. Now, before the word goes out and prices increase, I will order a wakizashi and katana from this noble seller. If you want powerful cutter, or wall pride, Jihpen swords will make you smile, and make you look cool with your friends, partners, etc... I guarantee you, you will never regret for this purchase (says the guy who is so finicky on blades)...

Company is great to work with. Looks nice but doesn't have a sharp edge. It feels like an axe. Great as a wall hanger instead of a user.

This sword is awesome quality for the price, it's razor sharp, even though I'm not a fan of black blades this one really works with the design.

Was fairly impressed for the absolute knock off price I didn’t notice it until I worked it with years of sword training, I wasn’t expecting the quality of it but the pommel end cap is just hit glued plastic. I’d have easily paid $40 more if they had just had a steel riveted pommel end cap, don’t buy this as anything more than an ornament unless you know some that can upgrade the end piece which even then is a good deal if you can because everything else is solid. It’s obviously not folded Japanese carbon mixed folded steel but the cheap flimsy rubbery end cap kahsira doesn’t even make sense
