The best option to prevent and protect against sun damage
This is the second time I’ve purchased this sunscreen. As a woman with Melasma I need the best sunscreen for my face that not only protects but also helps prevent and repair damage. This is what my dermatologist recommended for me. The formula is very light and absorbs quickly. The tint is also very subtle and ensures a natural look. A little goes a long way so the bottle lasts a long time. Highly recommend!

Sunscreen AND Foundation
I love this tinted sunscreen. It goes on smoothly, looks natural, and works as a foundation for applying makeup. And it’s a great sunscreen. Because I’m fair skinned, I combine the tinted sunscreen with a few drops of the same brand of white sunscreen to create a tone that’s natural looking for my face. The white sunscreen by itself does leave a bit of a white cast, but combining the two is perfect for me. Highly recommend.

Lightweight, Elegant Sunscreen That Actually Looks Good on the Skin
I’ve tried many mineral sunscreens over the years, and this ISDIN Eryfotona Ageless SPF 50 is one of the few that truly feels elegant on the skin. The tinted formula blends surprisingly well, leaves a healthy glow, and doesn’t give that heavy white cast most zinc oxide sunscreens do. My skin looked smoother and more even after applying it, almost like a light skin tint with skincare benefits included. I also appreciate that it’s lightweight and comfortable enough for daily wear under makeup. The anti-aging ingredients are a nice bonus and make it feel more like a treatment product than just sunscreen. The only small downside is that the tint may not match every skin tone perfectly, and the finish can look a little shiny on oily skin after a few hours. Still, the protection and overall skin appearance make it absolutely worth it. Definitely a high-quality sunscreen I would repurchase!

I loved it! 🌞✨
This sunscreen exceeded my expectations. 🥰 I love it because it protects my skin very well and, being 100% mineral with zinc oxide, it is ideal for my sensitive skin. The colored version leaves a very nice and natural finish, helping to unify the tone without feeling heavy. 💕 It is absorbed quickly, does not leave a greasy sensation and I love that it also has anti-aging benefits. I use it every day and my skin feels protected and hydrated. It has certainly become one of my favorite sunscreens. 🌸🧴💛

What’s the deal with DNA repair enzymes
The good. Very lovely liquid tinted sunscreen that easily applies and dries down matte on unmoisturized combination skin. No white cast for a Fitz IV. Contains DNA repair enzymes which purportedly reverse previous sun damage from the days before you were a fastidious sunscreen queen. Iron oxides even skin tone without making you feel like you’re wearing makeup, and also provide additional protection against visible light which can contribute to hyperpigmentation. The bad. It has fragrance which is somewhat baby powdery in its aroma. Not great but also not the worst. It’s a bit pricey but subscribe & save for 10% off is a solid deal. Also, it’s a rather large bottle at 100 mL so it’s akin to paying 35ish for a 50 mL bottle which isn’t cheap, but isn’t too bad. While it boasts a good SPF, and while there is more to UVA protection then concentration of zinc oxide, specifically formulation, I cannot help but be dubious of its UVA protection, particularly at longer wavelengths. At the end of the (sunny summer) day, UVA protection is far more important for skin aging than DNA repair enzymes which may or may not penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin in sufficient quantities to actually make a clinically significant difference. The ugly. For combination skin using tretinoin thrice weekly, it can be rather drying particularly with repeated applications throughout the day. TL;DR In spite of my concerns about potentially suboptimal UVA protection from a mineral sunscreen, concurrent with my problematic desire to look like I’m in my 20s forever, I think the potential benefits of DNA repair enzymes are worth the pain in the wallet and potential dryness that must be counteracted with a base of moisturizer. Postscript. Most combo skin types living in humid climates don’t need a separate moisturizer in addition to their sunscreen, but this product is a clear exception. I circumvent the dryness by applying an oil absorbing moisturizer beforehand (Cetaphil Derma Control; chemical sunscreen SPF30), which permits me to maintain the delicate balance required for managing combination tretinoin thrice weekly skin adjusting to life/hell in a horribly humid climate. Given my concerns about how adequately a zinc oxide sunscreen will protect against longer wavelengths of UVA, and the fact that reapplying tinted sunscreen when out and about without access to plumbing is awkward and annoying, I tend to exclusively wear this sunscreen when I’m working, (aka indoors where people can see me) or out of doors at times of day when the UV index is low.

Finally found a mineral sunscreen that works for me
I've struggled with sunscreens for a while, most cause eye irritation hours after application. Switched to ISDIN Eryfotona Ageless Tinted after researching mineral options specifically for melasma, and I'm genuinely impressed. The tint blends seamlessly and gives a nice even finish without looking heavy or cakey. It feels lightweight despite being a full mineral formula. No eye irritation whatsoever, which was my biggest concern going in. I hate sunscreens that leave you feeling sticky and you can practically feel your pores clogging up. This one feels like nothing after applying. I'm using it post-laser treatment for melasma and the iron oxides for visible light protection were a big selling point for me. A lot of sunscreens don't have this. They only protect from UV lights and suntans. The photolyase DNA repair enzyme is a unique bonus you won't find in other sunscreens at this price point.
