Very impressed with the Reolink Duo 3 Camera
I bought two of these Duo 3 cameras along with other Reolink cameras and I have been very impressed. My goal was to get away from an aging cloud-based camera monitoring system, to control my own secure system and to end the monthly subscription fees. After a lot of research, I decided to switch to Reolink. One of the main reasons was I really liked the dual camera 180 degree view these Duo 3 cameras provide. Plus, they were compact enough to tuck into the corner roof eaves of my house and they are barely visible. The video quality is excellent, and color night vision is much better than expected. The cameras are very well-built. The web client and IOS apps are easy to use and provide everything I need. Setup was incredibly easy: Windows 11 PC, Reolink POE switch, Reolink Cameras, Reolink web & IOS apps. Everything works great and I am very happy!

Good wide view camera
I havenโt had this camera for long yet, however, it doesnโt seem like a really good camera, great quality picture, sounds, and infrared camera. Set up isnโt too bad but it does come with a short wire so youโll need a longer cable if you plan on going further than 3 feet. I have the Reolink hard drive and I use the app to view the feed, and everything seems good so far.

super nice video, sturdy build, easy to setup, easy menus to understand, love this camera!
I have to say I'm impressed with this particular Reolink camera. That's not to say I haven't had some not so desirable experiences with past Reolink cameras, but this particular model has really changed my mind about what this company really can do. The smart motion detection for people, cars and animals just flat works well. Better than some of my other cameras that cost 3x the amount I paid for this camera. The interface for configuration and playback are very easy to use and understand and the ability to choose what you want to see (car/people/animal) make's reviewing video so easy. The 180 degree view is really sharp except on the sides you see some very small artifacts but nothing very serious and bothersome. The night vision (without IR) is really good. I've got mine set up to only turn on the light when motion is detected; otherwise, with IR / light on all the time it is a super spider/bug magnet. Why can't they make cameras with the IR wavelength that bugs don't see!?! Very easy integration with Blue iris and pretty good onvif compliance, although probably not 100%. I will be keeping my eye on Reolink for new models with similar features, particularly if they come out with a PTZ version. My only complaints are that the sound level, even at 100%, is not very audible like my other cameras. It almost sounds muted. The other issue is when the IR switches it is a LOUD annoying click. I know a lot of cameras have that click but none of my other cameras are nearly that loud of a click. The mic must be in close proximity to the IR cut filter. 2nd update: when video playback is being reviewed the audio in the 'clear' video is choppy and very laggy, I guess due to the 'clear' video choice as opposed to the 'fluent' option which provides good audio with no lag but very low resolution picture. Not sure why they can't give good audio in a 'clear' video playback. My other cameras with similar price range have no issue with this.

Excellent camera, not a 1:1 replacement for the Duo 2
This is a great, high definition camera sporting a 180 degree field of view with minimal distortion. It uses the same mounting bracket as the Duo 2 and can be dropped into an existing setup easily, **BUT** vertically, the FOV is not as tall as the Duo 2. For my application, I am still able to see everything I need to, but this is an important difference to note. It's maybe 5 fewer degrees vertically. Horizontally, you can still see an impressive 180 degrees with only minor distortion in the center of the picture from stitching the two camera feeds together. This camera easily connects to AgentDVR, and AgentDVR is even able to use data from the camera's AI motion and object detection to tag videos (with keywords including "detected", "vehicle", "people", "animal") or trigger recordings. FTP recording also works very well, although I had trouble with Auto/PASV transport and had to set it to Port to get it to work properly. This camera performs extremely well during the day. It's able to read the license plate of a moving vehicle from about 50 feet away with almost perfect clarity. At ~25mph the vehicle almost looks like it's not moving. At night, performance is still impressive, you can read the license plate of a stationary vehicle but a moving vehicle will only be a blur. You can still make out a good amount of detail if you adjust the image settings, but there's only so much you can do for night surveillance. I have had some problems getting the camera to switch between day mode and night color mode. The street outside my house has LED street lights, which I guess is bright enough to confuse the light sensor. Weirdly, though, the camera has no problem switching from day to black-and-white (infrared) night mode... I've tried editing the manual picture settings for color night mode, and it's definitely not kicking in; only changing the picture settings for day mode affects it. It's a bummer because the settings that maximize clarity in my situation are a LOT different for day and night mode. The reason this review is for four stars instead of five is a mix of the reduced vertical field of view and the weirdness switching to night mode. I wish it was made clearer that the field of view is reduced (even just a screenshot showing what the field of view actually is, not necessarily directly comparing the two), and not being able to adjust the color night mode is annoying. Despite these negatives, it is still a fantastic camera with amazing picture quality, and I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

Great for a back or front yard
A couple years ago, I purchased the Reolink DVR with 4 cameras, and had them mounted on the 4 corners of my home. 2 in the front yard facing each other so I can see the whole area, and 2 in the back yard facing each other. I've always wanted better side yard visibility since I've had a few instances now of people crossing through my sideyard and even contruction people working for a neighbor who were in my side yard. So, I bought this on sale (thank you Amazon and Reolink) to cover the back yard, and repointed the ones on the corners to see the side yard. You can see in the screenshot above, I can now see all of my yard and have a great view of the backyard. The clarity is nice. I also like the floodlight feature on it as well as the 2 way communications available. The siren COULD be louder, but I won't be using that much (hopefully). As I've mentioned in previous reveiws, I love that it's a POE camera since it won't need batteries and can't be jammed by a FlipperZero or other wireless jamming device. It can't be disabled without you first having been recorded. That being said, I would recommend pairing it with the DVR for that purpose. It can take up to 256GB of memory in an SD card, but that can be removed. If paired with a DVR indoors, they can take the camera or remove the card, but they're still recorded securely in your home! Also, if you're like me and have your network equipment on a battery backup, cutting power to your home won't kill this camera. It will run on the juice being supplied across the network! Sweet! If you're not interested in that, can't get network cables to the location you plan to mount it, or just prefer wireless still, then go for the wifi version of this camera. I'm still impressed with the rest of the features enough to suggest it! For the techies out there like me, it plays nicely with all the IOT services. Apple Homekit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and (my favorite) HomeAssistant all play well with it! In Alexa and HomeAssistant (the two I've tested the most with it) even the options to send voice back to it, trigger the siren, and trigger the flood light are all available! I'm already testing automations in HomeAssistant now! For the price, this is a great camera. My only complaint is a nit-picky one, and that is that in the DVR dashboard it comes across a bit small because it's panoramic. I hope they add layouts in the DVR to accomodate these later! Until then, I'm still satisfied. It's been worth every buck!

no books, no user manual, no power cord cable, only one point cable that Is in the box?
The experience of Staples was less than desired. They could not provide a receipt for me to prove that I had dropped the item off. And I wanted to explain to them. The reason I was returning it because it had no book. It had no information on the camera itself. And when I hooked it up That's traditional ways using the per cable that came with it. And the fact that there was no power cable either it came with no mountain screws, only one screw that I'm assuming connected the camera to the melt, which again had no screws or inputs for the screws to be screwed into. These are normal things that come with cameras. This camera had done a, which makes me believe it was a used camera. The lights would come on for 5 or 6 seconds, and then go right back out, I troubleshooted and looked up online using chat GT P and other search tools to get information That in.\n Formation told me that the camera which was supposed to be compatible with my camera. Set Up that I had purchased from Amazon. This camera was recommended to go with it.\n As a hansversion, camera that could see a 180ยฐ and had high resolution that could capture License plates, which is why we got it nonetheless. It did not provide anything since it does not work. I tried to tell the woman at Staples. What was missing from the box? She said she did not care. I said, well, I do the transaction ended, and then I was like, well, where's my receipt where we can't give the sheets. Today, we don't have our receipts are down. Are printers out the other girl said that I Take a picture of the phone that they were using. As a device to do the returns, I took 2 pictures. I asked her to hold the camera at an angle so I could take one more picture because the lights the fluorescent lights were screwing the picture up. She just threw the camera down on the table and said, take the picture. So I attempted to I am also nearly blind and going deaf, I suffer from RP advanced in stage and cogence disease, as well as black haema and cataracts, I'm going deaf, and I'm immunocompromised, because I am taking suppressants, and I am protected by the Ada and I just don't believe that the interaction Was correct and if it reflects back on my refund for the fact that the camera was sent back with everything it had when it was sent to me it should not affect any of my refund which is what I was trying to ask her about, but she simply said she did not care.

Wide Coverage and Great ClarityโSolid NVR Setup
Wide Coverage and Great ClarityโSolid NVR Setup Iโm running two of these on an 8-channel NVR with PoE power, and theyโve been working great. Being able to record 24/7 with motion tagging and cover such a wide area with one camera is a big advantage. The 180ยฐ panoramic view really cuts down on needing multiple cameras to cover the same space. The app makes it easy to navigate between cameras, and having everything displayed on a TV through the NVR is a nice bonus for monitoring. Video quality is sharp, digital zoom works well, and night vision is crisp and clear with very little ghosting. These cameras cover a large area with a single unit, which makes them a great value for the price. As part of my overall setup, Iโm running a full Reolink system with both hardwired NVR cameras and cellular units all tied together in one app (see my other reviews), and everything integrates well. If youโre looking for wide coverage, solid clarity, and reliable performance in this price range, itโs hard to beat these. See More. Cover More. Worry Less.

Great picture quality!
Recently added this camera to my security system and just wow what a difference from the original camera!! It captures way more and the view is seem less. I can zoom in with little artifacts or picture loss. The installation was just about plug and play. Only recommendation is if the holder would be a bit more flexible to adjust the angle of the camera. Still 10/10 definitely recommend!

Reolink - Great products and great customer service.
I purchased three of these REOLINK Duo 3 cameras. For my use case, they have proven to be perfect. They are clear and vibrant during the day and at night the image satisfies my expectations. I did have an issue with one of the cameras when the IR light failed - though it only reduced visibility marginally as IR from other cameras had overlap. I am thoroughly impressed with Reolink's customer service and warranty procedure. The online customer service agent was thorough and genuinely wanted to help. Shout out to Frank (Australia) who was proactive in ensuring my claim was processed quickly. Reolink dispatched a replacement the same day I posted the faulty unit back to them. I found it to be a very positive returns experience. In total I have seven Reolink cameras with a need to add another four cameras. I won't hesitate to order from Reolink again. I hope others find my review helpful.

Does the job in a very good way.
Good view. Good quality (video and 2-way audio). Does what it is supposed to do with a user-friendly app for both, PC, Mac, Android and IOS. Note IOS and Android need to be newer (5years) because Reolink's updated app will not work for older versions. APP is versatile with adjustable detection zones (alarms if objects move into the zone) and 24/7 recording of tis entire field of view. APP also allows one to filter recordings for viewing based on the detected object type (you can adjust the object sizes - vehicle, pet, person) and turn on motion sensor IR and spot lights. I will continue to buy this brand of product.
