These are amazing! I'd like to see the negative reviewers remove ice from the old metal ice trays with the lever. Hahaha these are a piece of cake compared to old ice cube trays! Will definitely purchase more! I love the size of the little cubes! They seal so your ice doesn't taste or smell bad. Stackable I have no clue why? You fill to the line and then slowly insert middle. Filling is easy. If you over fill the 2 holes in the top let the water out. Don't overfill does nothing but make it take longer for ice and harder to remove. I love the shape and size. Lid? Durable I would say so I filled and froze night before trip to the beach 2.5 hours in a cooler with other types of ice and food and it stayed frozen. Removal.... I see alot of complaints about this part of the process. If you read the directions and got ice so far then keep following them. I rinse the entire thing. Fill middle while rinsing the second one. Then try and remove inner part. If it doesn't come out I fill it again while trying the 2nd one. If it takes a few more seconds rinsing with warm water they do come out. Forcing it out like one video shows is just showing you don't read instructions and follow them. Its not rocket science its just nature. If it doesn't come out easily rinse for 10-30 seconds longer. I let the warm water sit in the middle for a few more seconds. They do come out and these are great for travel. I'm buying 2 more for when I travel with more than a couple friends. Even with the less than stellar reviews I've always loved this brand so I gave them a try and I love them!

They are extremely convenient and they fit perfectly in my freezer. They could leak if they aren’t upright so if you put them upright, they’ll be fine. I’ve used them for around two weeks and they are still durable. The size of them make the perfect amount of ice!

Love these Tovolo ice cylinders because you can fit them nearly anywhere and take them with you, if needed. My ice machine made too much noise, took up too much space, and is useless in winter so turned it off, removed the bin, and looked for an alternative that didn't necessarily need a flat space -- these are perfect. Works as indicated with no issues. No pooling at bottom, easy release, cute little cubes pour out. I also freeze my glasses in summertime to add frostiness. I have other Tovolo products that are amazing so felt confident to buy during got a limited-time discount period.

These were a cheap stocking stuffer idea for my girlfriend, and she really enjoyed using them for a few weeks. They were easy to fill to the marked line, and the lid pushed any extra water out through the weep hole, which made the process simple and mess-free. They also froze pretty quickly, usually in about an hour and a half. Getting the ice out was easy as well. After removing the lid, you just roll the mold, and it releases perfect little nugget-style ice cubes. The only issue we had was that the molds eventually started to smell like the freezer, and it became pretty hard to ignore. Ultimately, we used these to confirm that nugget ice really is superior, and we ended up buying a countertop nugget ice maker. Overall, they were a fun and inexpensive way to try nugget-style ice, but they were more of a short-term solution for us.

This is the best mini ice tray I've purchased to date and it exceeded my expectations! My previous ice tray made the same cubes but in a flat tray and it was a painstaking process to free each individual cube. This system is easy to fill and even easier to free the cubes. It freezes fast because the cubes are so small and it feels really durable despite daily use. Each cylinder provides a generous amount of ice cubes for a large drink. My only complaint is it does leave a mysterious white film in my drinks that I can't seem to wash or rinse off the trays but it doesn't change the flavor of my drinks. It takes up much less space in the freezer too.

I DID, one time, use one of these with plain water and the cubes came out really hard and lasted a long time in my steel(?)-lined ‘go-cup’, so in a regular glass for a cold drink I’m pretty positive they will work well..however, since I am a crushed ice freak and use an ice crusher for plain ice, I also would freeze 100% real o.j. In paper cups because it never froze solid, soo, I got these 2 mini ice cylinders for my o.j. and Gatorade and they work perfectly for those! Even after I used warm water to get the center ‘cup’ out of cylinder, I thought for sure they would come out too liquidy but nope, nice little ‘slush squares’ I put them in a wide mouth, steel(?)-lined, go-cup and they last quite a while. In a disp. bowl to eat with a spoon, not too long, so start gobbling those yummy nuggets asap..(Reddi-whip sprayed on o.j. nuggets makes them even yummier in my opinion! Like the old creamsicles!🤤)

These are great and I love that there are two of them. I did think the cubes would be just slightly larger, but they’re better than not having ice at all (shout out to the person who poorly flipped our house and hooked the freezer in a place that can’t access water. No icemaker for us I guess). They’re easy to fill if you pay attention to the instructions and they’re not large so they do not take a ton of space out of your freezer. The cubes were easy to remove after lightly rinsing the molds in warm water, and I loved having ice in my drinks last night. I wish these were slightly larger cubes but they’re effective and I enjoy this product!

These mini ice cylinders are amazing! They make perfect tiny nugget ice cubes for my iced coffee every morning. They are easy to use, just fill, freeze, squeeze, and repeat. I'm so glad I didn't spend $400 on an expensive nugget ice machine.

This is an amazing product and works as advertised. I am buying another set to replace my small ice-cube (1cm) trays. This makes small ice cubes, which are perfect if you are an ice-eater (like me), and enough for 1 drink if you like a lot of ice in it (like me). For regular folks, one of these makes enough ice for 2 drinks. You can de-ice it right into itself or a glass so there isn’t need for another container, and refill is quick and easy so you can do it right away. These do fit into my freezer door so they are easy to grab and don’t take up room inside. Tips: 1. When re-filling it, put it on a flat surface and press the top down until all the extra water is removed from the two holes on the top. (Watch out for the fountain!) This will also create suction keeping the water inside in place. 2. When de-icing, fill the center with hot water to detach it from the ice. This makes it easy to slide it out. 3. You do need to run it under hot water or let it sit to de-ice easily. 4. You do need to make sure the bottom is flat when freezing and the lid is secure in place. Otherwise it will sag and make flat ice at the bottom.

When I first bought these two ice makers — the type where you fill the sides with water and put the lid on top — I was a little sceptical about how well they’d perform. But after using them for about two weeks, I can honestly say I love them. They do exactly what they’re meant to do. You do need to give them a bit of a tap or twist to release the ice, and removing the plastic centre helps, but once the ice comes out it’s crunchy, solid, and in neat little square pieces. The ice lasts all day when used in an insulated cup. I use one tray at a time and keep the other as a backup, though I rarely even need it. My iced coffee stays cold and refreshing for hours.

El diseño del producto es excelente, uno de los mejores que yo he visto en hielo, para quienes necesitan cubos pequeños. Había comprado ya un par que me tiene muy contento y en una comida llamaron la atención de mi pareja, por lo que quise regalarle unos. El problema fue que cuando llegaron, venían con un defecto de fabricación o de manejo. Los habría vuelto a comprar sin problema si no hubiera sido porque entre que los compré y que llegaron con el defecto, habían perdido el descuento del Hot Sale y costaban casi 50% más.
