Just get them no joke will seriously improve your life
Will literally cut anything serious with precision, used em my entire life, never ever dulls even after ridiculous stuff, had an old pair I used for everything and till I lost it and bought a new one it would still cut a cotton ball to the tip precisely in one cut, after cutting tin, had to cut a bike cable one time (didn't even scratch the blades), miles and miles of cardboard Literally.(razor blades dull after 13 foot of cutting) literally best scissors money can buy. Overkill but subtly, for any cut.

GREAT shears - TERRIBLE used item received though
Purchase these because they were marked “used - like new condition. What I received was a pair of filthy shears in the original packaging. The shears were not only filthy with slight damage to the handles, but the tip of one of the blades was snapped off, so it was no longer pointy. What it LOOKS like happened is someone had this set for a while, damaged them, then ordered another pair, and once they got them, did a return and sent back these bad ones in the new packaging and kept the new shears. Note: I’ve used this model of shears before and they are absolutely A+ and I recommend them, especially for cutting Kevlar or heavy canvas. This review rating I’m leaving is based purely on the crappy condition of the item I received as it was clearly not inspected before being put back into circulation.

Amazing for Dyneema
Bought these in the hopes that they would go into my splicing kit. I couldn’t be happier with them. They cut dyneema like butter, I don’t know how I did any splicing without them.

Snips Right Through Zing-It
I bought a roll of Zing-It cord to make guylines for my tents and tarps. I have various scissors and cutters and I certainly have no trouble cutting the Zing-It, but the cuts are almost never clean, and they require multiple cuts with the scissors, or sawing motions with the cutters. This Jonard JIC-186 Kevlar Ergonomic Fiber Optic Cutter snips right through the Zing-It as if it were nothing more than a piece of fishing line, and the cut is always clean. I have some 2.3mm uhmwpe (same as Dyneema) cord coming soon, which promises to pose more of a challenge to the scissors. I will update once I've tried to cut through it.
