Lost my remote for my Jbl bar 5.1 sound bar and this replacement was perfect. The quality of the buttons work better than the original remote. Easy to set up just put batteries and good to go. Great buy!!!

Worked with JBL 5.1 True Wireless system (2020)
JBL Bar 5.1 Channel 4K Ultra HD Soundbar with True wireless surround speakers + wireless subwoffer (2020) Worked immediately, didn't need to sync! I was scared I wasn't going to find something that still worked since the model is on the older side 😅 Buttons feel very stiff, so it feels like a generic replacement but having it work immediately deserves 5 stars! At first I was skeptical it wasn't going to work when I saw it came in a generic electronics zip bag and had some small scuffs on the back. No batteries included, but I expected that.

Works as Replacement
We rent our condo and always am concerned about broken or missing remotes. Bought to replace OE remote. This worked flawlessly. Would recommend.

Come calibrated.
It’s like I never lost the original remote. Good pricing and the best surprise is the fact that you don’t have to calibrate the remote (a godsend to the technologically inept).

Remote works erratically
This is the most cheaply made remote in addition that it does not work reliably. I can stand in front of the sound bar, use the remote and noting happens. After pressing the remote dozens of times it will finally activate but then a few seconds later it goes off. I would think JBL would be crazy to team up with this vendor(s) as this product is a complete failure. The original remove lasted and worked great for over 5 years. When the replacement showed up I used it, work erratically, and I sent it back. Amazon sent me another one; same thing all over again. Don't buy it, it is junk!
