I’ve been through a LOT of self-tanners over the years, trying to find one that gives me a deep, natural look without clashing with my pink undertones. I was a loyal St. Tropez user for years, then switched to Norvell, but this Loving Tan Platinum Express is my new favorite. The mousse dries quickly, applies smoothly with a mitt, and develops into an even, olive-toned tan (no orange at all). Within just 2 hours I had a beautiful, professional-looking result that lasted several days without streaks or patchiness. Big caution though: do NOT leave this on overnight. I made the mistake of falling asleep in it once (something I had done with other brands without issue), and it was a disaster. The tan was initially gorgeous, but it dried my skin out badly and took forever to fade. Now I stick to the 2-hour timing, and it’s perfect. For anyone with pink undertones looking for a rich, natural-looking tan that develops quickly and dries fast, this is one of the best options out there—just make sure you rinse on time!

I have tried numerous tanning mousses, drops and lotions. All of them come out pretty orange, streaky or splotchy. I've also felt it's been difficult to find one that stays on. But let me tell you this is my FAVORITE one. I will say, it TOUGH to get off, that is how long it will last. But it's worth it because of how perfect it looks after application!

I’ve never written a review but I am an expert on self tanning products. Literally tried every single one religiously over the past decade because my skin is essentially see through (think almost purple pale and Irish freckles). I also often spray tan and am always trying to achieve that level of tan. This is it!!! I’ve never been so dark. It’s comparable to two spray tans back to back. I did one coat and was satisfied with the level of dark (first pic) and then the next night did it again just to see and I’m obsessed!! I think I’ll still to just the one coat moving forward. I kept it on overnight both times. No residual smell after showering which is lovely!

I’m obsessed with this stuff. It truly works. I leave it on for 2 hours most times especially if I get busy doing something. It doesn’t look orange. It looks really natural. I love you can see the color going on when you apply it. The mouse is lightweight and not heavy. It doesn’t transfer to my clothes. This is my go to year round to have some color on me. As a melanoma survivor it is nice to have a little bit of color to my skin but know I didn’t have to be in the sun to get it.

If this is their darkest shade, I’d be horrified to see their lightest. I’ve been using B.Tan clear “darkest” lotion for over a year now and get so unbelievably dark. However, I just don’t always love the way it fades. Loving Tan has been on my mind since the 2014 beauty guru era when Casey Holmes would do her weekly self tan. I decided to give it a try and was so beyond disappointed. This leaves the tiniest tan EVER. The first go around I waited 8 hours before rinsing off because I went to bed. I had a very pale, barely there tan. The second time I washed after 2 hours, wondering if I had misused the product. This time, even worse. I’m naturally a light, olive skin tone, that tans easily in the sun. This truly has no color pay off, unless you’re Twilight pale.

2 hour express is worth the buy! Highly recommended and my go to. I love this stuff and I am an experienced self tanner. No streaks, great color, and stays on 4-5 days for someone who showers every day. If you do skincare this will come off by day 3. Friendly to acne prone skin! If you leave on for two hours use a baby wipe to take off first layer- do not shower it off it won’t be as dark. I also like using a rubber glove to apply since the cloth glove soaks up and wastes the product. Try to ensure your skin is moisturized to avoid crack looking colors or streaks. Has gotten all over my clothes and comes off easily in the wash, has never stained my bedding or clothes, no smell
