Nice bottle, I used to run NYC marathon. Easy to carry and it colapses when empty. Just make sure to cleaned inside with warm water ans a bit of clorox. Now I used for traveling and get water in airports

It's exactly what it says it is, a silicon water bottle. Great for running, feels secure in the hand with the attached strap, no leaking, easy to clean out. It has a bite spout which is nice for running so you won't shoot an unexpected amount of water down your throat and choke and die. All in all, good product.

Vey happy with the practicality of this water bottle. It is a little awkward at first getting used to the straps around your hand but overall it’s very comfortable and I imagine the fit would be suitable for most hand sizes. I also appreciate how well the lid seals and retains water without leaking or anything. And on an even more positive note, it’s very easy to wash and clean. I typically carry this on my medium long runs when it’s warmer outside and it fits my need very well.

Solid grip for thumb holsters, and easy squeeze drinking mechanism. Though, I've found myself re-inflating the bottle during the run to have a better grip. Easy to clean (soaking in soap water then scrub washing), although I do need a small brush to clean the mouthpiece to ensure there's no grime buildup. I use this bottle with Gatorade/Tailwind/Skratch almost exclusively, so there's always the worry of the sugar collecting and gathering with grime and forming that nasty dark gunk we all hate. Perfectly sized for solid, long workouts, 500 mL sometimes requires refills but is otherwise ample for me. After almost 2 months of use, some wear and tear on the grip handle as I've seen some strings peel out, but that's natural with wear and tear so not too discontent with the build.

This soft flask is extremely light and comfortable to hold. The thumb loop works very well for me. It allows me to hold the bottle securely using almost no grip pressure, with no need to overtighten the velcro hand-strap. The thumb loop is a good size for me and did not cause any chafing or irritation, but it might not work for someone with very large hands. The bite valve has good flow and I didn't experience any leakage. This is a soft flask, so it collapses as you drink from it -- no sloshing. I did not notice any plasticky odor or taste. I can't comment on the effectiveness of the insulation, as all my runs since getting this have been in very cool temps, but I'll update this review after I've had a chance to use it in warmer weather.

This would be a great water bottle if I could ever get the plastic taste to go away. I've tried everything I could find to remedy this but it's still just as strong as the day it arrived.

I've been using this bottle for a couple weeks now and the bottle definitely works for running. The collapsing feature is nice since it prevents the typical air pocket that causes the water to slosh that happens in hard bottles. It does take a bit of getting used to holding something mushy like this after having used hard bottles for years. Although I think this Skyflask functionally works I think there are two parts of the bottle that could be improved. Although the insulation is a nice feature to keep the liquid at temp for longer, I have a slight issue with how its constructed. There is an approximately 5 mm seam in the plastic shell running the length of the bottle under the hand strap where the insulation is compromised (see picture). If I put in water and ice, I can really feel the coldness in my palm which can become painful like holding anything really cold. I avoid putting ice in my other uninsulated hard bottles for this very reason, so I was hoping that this insulation would take care of that issue. I wish there was no seam or the makers at least put it on the other side where the fingers meet so I'm not touching the cold seam constantly. I assume they put it under the strap for design aesthetics. For this reason I don't put ice cold liquids, which is kind of disappointing. Secondly, I wish the strap had a way to get locked in place. Over the course of a run you want to cinch the strap down to keep a tight grip, but the strap will loosen itself over time. There isn't too much slack to begin with anyways so at its loosest I can still maintain an okay grip so its not too bad, just annoying to use.

I love this water bottle. With the OK heat this summer, running has been rough. I typically don't carry water in cooler temps, but found myself overheating and needing hydration. Tried a Nathan's bottle, and it was hard to squeeze to get water out while running. Also, I had to hold it in my hand. I am not a fan of holding things or having things, like a vest, on my body while I run. This water bottle is easy to hold in your hand though and I really like the collapsing feature, which makes it easier to get water out and to carry the bottle when its not full (no sloshing!). I actually expand the band, throw this over my shoulder, and wear it more like a backpack for the first half of my runs. I'd def recommend it. So far, I’ve used it on road and trail runs about 10 times, and it's still in good shape and working well.

The Hydrapak SkyFlask is a great product for users with specific requirements. I think this product has been designed for runners. It’s compact 350 ml capacity and shape really appealed to me to fit into a very small EDC day pack. I purchased it thinking when it was collapsed it would stay in a neat compressed format like its big brother the Hydrapak Stash. Ie the bottom clips neatly into the top. Unfortunately it does not. It does compress when empty but does not have the same feature to keep it compressed in the neat shape of the Stash. The hand strap does not pull tight enough to keep the compressed bottle in a rolled up shape. The straps function is only to provide additional fitment / security presumably when running with bottle in hand. When empty it does squidge down like an empty toothpaste tube. PROS - Lightweight - Bite valve works well and does not leak even if bottle is squeezed hard - Also clips open for easy fast filling. Clip feels very secure even when bottle is squeezed hard - Cap can be completely unscrewed from the bottle neck allowing replacement or alternative type of cap/straw. - Compresses down and can be stuffed in a pocket or in clothing waste band etc. - Opacity allows your to see liquid level and also good to be able to check there is no mould etc - Build quality feels good. I have not experienced any leaks or punctures etc CONS - Does not stand upright by itself - The bottle interior does initially emit a smell and this transfers as a taste to water etc contained in the bottle. This reduces over time and there are plenty of techniques you can Google to help remove the smell/taste. The smell / taste on a brand new Hydrapak SkyFlask bottle is way too strong and really put me off using it. The big brother Hydrapak Stash does not smell or taste anywhere near as bad.

Avevo già una Hydrapak da 350 ml e ho voluto prendere il modello più capiente, così da avere con me l'acqua durante le gare e assimilare meglio le gelatine energetiche senza fermarmi ai punti di ristoro. La cinghia è comodissima, molto meglio questa semplice di quella con l'anello per il pollice, che ho trovato scomoda perché costringe la mano a fare presa sulla flask. Con questa invece basta tirare la cinghia e la flask rimane aderente al palmo, senza che le dita la stringano. Il materiale è ottimo, non ha odore e non trattiene i sapori. Il prezzo di quasi 30 euro è alto, seppur in linea con il prezzi in rete, ma non mi fido di marchi sconosciuti, che potrebbero usare materiali tossici. Questa isolata è più spessa del modello base, non so quanto isoli davvero, ma mentre corro non mi interessa la temperatura dell'acqua. Il tappo è a tenuta stagna e basta schiacciarlo tra i denti per far uscire il liquido. Trovo più comodo questo modello che quelle più piccole da tenere addosso. Per me promossa a pieni voti.

I tried another hand bottle, but this one is way better because it collapses. Once it is empty, it is easy to refill on the fly or tuck away in a pocket. I use it for marathon training and it works great
