My husband ordered this chair and was so excited to use it, but we live in Alaska so he had to wait a couple months to use it, due to weather (so much snow!) and his work schedule. He first used it at our son’s baseball game, but after he set it up, he sat down in it and one of the leg snapped in half and he fell down with the chair. Thankfully he wasn’t hurt, but the chair leg like my husband’s feelings was crushed. Due to waiting to use it when the weather permitted, the Amazon return window had closed. So, I was able to find the email address for customer service and I sent in pictures, original order info, and a description of what happened. I received a very nice response and great news that they would send a replacement chair and had to provide my delivery address. Shortly after I received an email with the order number. Then 4 days later I received another email stating my product had shipped and I had a USPS tracking number. Approximately 5 days later, we received the new chair and my husband has been very happy in his new chair and he has had plenty of opportunities to sit in it since we received it. It is a great chair, we just happened to get one with a defect and that happens. I was very happy with the customer service I received from the representative I worked with for this issue; prompt communication and overall pleasant experience. Not only would I recommend their High Back Folding Camping Chair for Adults, Heavy Duty 600 lbs Capacity, No Installation Needed, but it’s nice they do stand behind their work with a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects. My husband looks forward to baseball season regardless, but he is much more comfortable in his awesome chair now. One additional thing he likes about it is that it folds up small enough to transport easily. While it’s rated to hold up to 600lbs, it is quite light to carry and comes with a nice, zippered carrying sleeve with a strap.

Doesn't come with a carry bag or shoulder strap. Asked Rufus and 'they' said it did. Comfortable and sturdy enough for me - 6'6", 250+lbs. Set up and fold down is a breeze.

I like the chair and recommend it! There are a couple things that should be noted. The weight is a little on the heavy side. At first the chair is tight and hard to set up. The instruction said it be patient and after eight uses it should be easier to set up. I just set it up in the house and let it stretch out. Now is okay to set up and put away. There is not a carrier with the chair or a strap, however I previously had a CLIQ chair with same basic design and use their carrier. The CLIQ broke early on however I kept the carries they used. The MTRVR chair is wider and doesn’t cut into the back of my legs as the CLIQ chair did. It’s rather expensive but easy and quick to set up a take down. I like the high back but the head cushion is a little annoying since it tilts the head a little farther forward than I would like. But I believe this can be stretched out as well. The chair has been easy on the back since I have lower back problems. Getting out of the chair will require you tilt forward a little to get up. All-in-all I like the chair!

Was very excited about receiving this. I have been looking for a compact camping chair that would be able to pack easily. The size is perfect for that. However, the chair seems to dangerous to use. This chair has a high weight capacity in which I am nowhere near, and it feels very unstable when sitting in it. The chair wobbles a lot, I believe the legs do not stick out far enough for a stable base. When I stood up I almost fell forward because the back legs came up. This could be extremely dangerous when sitting around a camp fire. I tested it out a few more times, and although i never almost tripped again, the rear legs always came up. I even let my 5 year old who weighs 45lbs test it out, and the chair popped up again. We have used other light weight chairs, such as the tent pole style chairs, and never experienced this. I would not feel safe with him using the chair. Some other cons of the chair include, it feels Very tight. The front legs stuck into my legs, and with my arms by my side and sitting inside of it, the chair hugged too tight. The pillow is hard and rods were a little tough to open. Now, due its size i could over see most of these cons becuase it is really what I'm looking for, but it is too unstable to be safely used so I will be sending it back.

I was excited for this as being able to condense a seat of this acclaimed sturdiness down to such a small size was desirable. However upon the FIRST using it in the field the locking mechanism for the legs failed. Causing me to fall. I’m 6’5 320lb. (Which is well below the rated 600lb) Save for the embarrassment of having a highly priced heap of garbage which summoned a large degree of comic relief among my peers it’s a long site 24 hour response and it wasn’t the weekend I sent it on Thursday. Who’s right here I’ll be by your side still right by your side, I can’t recommend this product. The price was high and I cannot say that it worked. Additionally, I contacted warranty support and they claimed there would be a 24hr reply and it had been 36hrs and nothing. I can see where the unit failed. My guess is the teeth which appear to be casted aluminum failed. Quite frankly, I’m terribly displeased with the experience and at this high price point I have to say: I DO NOT RECOMMEND Edit: I increased the rating to 3 stars because they were so generous to replace the unit free of charge though the 6 month warranty had expired. I will update again to determine if it was just a manufacturer’s defect.

The product met my expectations. It is easy to open and close up. It is lightweight. It works fine in the sand beach. The high back is a big plus for me.

I hemmed and hawed over purchasing this chair for a long time. I just couldn't stomach the price. So I tried several other chairs whose prices were inside the stratosphere. After multiple failures to find a chair I liked, I decided to bite the bullet on this one. I assumed that if I was paying close to $200 for a camping chair that it would be a brilliant design and super comfortable with high quality construction. I really wanted to love this chair and I really wanted it to be worth the money. When I unpacked it, I was initially optimistic that it was everything I hoped. But as I struggled to extend the poles, doubt started to creep in. It is pretty challenging to set up, but folding it back up was twice the headache. Depressing the buttons generally didn't release the poles to slide in, but after a fair bit of forceful wiggling, pulling, and pushing, I finally got them all retracted. While I appreciate not having to squeeze the chair into a bag, I realized that carrying the chair would be a problem. There's nothing to hang onto and no way to sling it over a shoulder. Were these the only issues I had with the chair, I might have been willing to deal with them. Unfortunately, there's more. There is the actual experience of sitting in the chair. I am an average size guy at 5'8", but the front lip of this chair bit into the backs on my legs quite uncomfortably because of the angle of the seat front, which forces the legs into a v-shape, so my legs would need to be several inches longer to relieve the pressure on my legs. Aside from that, it is a pretty comfortable chair. But then we have to talk about the stability. It's a common theme in the reviews, and it's somewhat merited. As long as I'm just sitting in the chair, it feels stable to me. But as soon as I lean forward or try to get out of the chair, the back legs eagerly pop off the ground and the chair does its best to dump me on the ground. Ok, I'm being a little dramatic, but it is something to be aware of. I find it to be controllable, but definitely not desirable. I wonder how it would fare with some wind, or uneven ground... I didn't find out because I never tried the chair outside my living room. Circling back to my review title, I expect the moon when I pay astronomical prices. I'm OK with those prices if I am in fact getting the moon. But this chair doesn't give me that. Sadly, I wouldn't keep this chair for any price because despite the few good qualities it has, at the end of the day, it simply isn't a chair I want to sit in. As I write this review a good half hour after sitting in the chair and continue to have the phantom feelings of the chair biting into the backs of my legs, I would actually say I never want to sit in it again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of this camping chair. The high back design and included headrest pillow make it incredibly comfortable for extended sitting, whether you're at the beach, in the backyard, or on a camping trip. It feels sturdy and well-built — definitely strong enough to support heavier weights as advertised. The chair folds easily and is lightweight enough to carry without hassle. I also appreciate the thoughtful extras like the side cup holder and breathable mesh back, which is great for warm weather. Overall, this is a fantastic chair for the price. I’ve already recommended it to friends and plan to get another one soon!

Es una silla compacta y se ve robusta. Echo en falta una bolsa para poder guardar y transportar cómodamente. Como se muestra en el vídeo, al tener las patas tan juntas, es un poco inestable. Una vez sentado no pero al levantarse, uno vuelca hacia delante. Y si la utiliza un niño, en mi caso uno de 6, es probable que vuelque de un lado o de otro. Contiene instrucciones de cómo abrir y cerrar en inglés pero es muy intuitivo y fácil de montar.

Sul sito di vendita si assicura che può sopportare un carico fino a 280 kg. Le istruzioni per l’apertura della poltroncina e la sua chiusura sono riportate in un foglietto illustrativo (in inglese), però consiglio caldamente di visualizzare i video disponibili nel sito che chiariranno sicuramente ogni eventuale dubbio. Quando si vuol chiudere la poltroncina, per non esercitare eccessiva forza tirando il perno a molla tramite l’anello metallico, è opportuno premere leggermente verso l’interno le gambe. Ottima da usare d’estate visto che la parte dorsale è traspirante. La seduta è molto ampia e avvolgente e quindi adatta ad ogni corporatura e c’è una comoda imbottitura per la testa. Nella poltroncina sono integrate due tasche laterali, di dimensioni diverse, dove poter introdurre alcuni piccoli oggetti (come esempio nel secondo video disponibile sul sito di vendita si può osservare l’inserimento di un cellulare nella tasca più piccola). Sicuramente è una sedia da usare all’aria aperta in molteplici attività che possono variare dal campeggio, all’escursionismo, alle gite in spiaggia ecc…. Facendo una ricerca sulle caratteristiche del tessuto Oxford 210D, da quanto ho potuto leggere sembra che questo particolare tessuto, oltre ad essere resistente all’usura, lo è anche per l’esposizione ai raggi ultravioletti: ovviamente questa caratteristica è estremamente importante in quanto questa poltroncina sarà usata all’aperto e magari spesso in giornate assolate. Concludendo, non c’è alcun dubbio che questo prodotto sia realizzato impiegando ottimi materiali e denoti estrema robustezza e sicurezza nell’utilizzo. L’unico appunto che posso fare riguarda il costo: in effetti questo prodotto viene offerto a un prezzo tutt’altro che economico, tanto che ho deciso di togliere una stella dalla valutazione massima pur riconoscendo che l’articolo è molto valido. Acquisto comunque consigliato.
