We bought this gate when our daughter started walking around 13–14 months, and we’ve been using it daily for about a year now. It has honestly been the best baby gate we’ve found. The build quality is solid, the height feels very safe, and the opening/closing mechanism is smooth and reliable. The automatic close is a huge plus — it clicks shut every time without us having to double-check it. We liked it so much that we ended up buying a second one for the stairs between our third and fourth floor, and another for the second floor hallway. Before committing to multiple gates, we tried a couple of cheaper alternatives, but they weren’t nearly as convenient. They didn’t close on their own, felt flimsier, and didn’t give us the same peace of mind. This one has been perfect for keeping our toddler safe, and I think it would work great for pets too. It is a bit pricier than some other options, but after using it for a year, I can say it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dependable, easy-to-use baby gate.

Hello, My husband just put together our COMOMY, black, metal gate to keep our dogs in the Family Room & Kitchen area, without being able to go into the Living Room or upstairs into the bedrooms. We are so happy we selected this gate! There were so many to choose from it was challenging to find the best one, but I think we made an EXCELLENT choice with COMOMY. Here are our reasons why: 1. The gate arrived in 2 days as promised. It also arrived in perfect condition with the few remaining parts ALL THERE. (That’s a miracle in itself these days.) 2. My husband put it together in less than 10 MINUTES. The only “tools” he used were 2, 8” metal bars (of the same dimensions) to temporarily hold the gate up off the ground 1”. (The metal bars were from his work shop.) I also held the gate steady while he tightened the 4 pressure brackets onto the walls, ( Brackets are included with the gate.) 3. This gate has the BEST & EASIEST, ONE HAND LOCK. You just push the lock down with your thumb, while simultaneously squeezing up with the rest of your fingers. It doesn’t take much pressure at all. 4. The gate swings open whichever way you want it to, which is a GREAT FEATURE! 5. The gate itself is Black with a nice finish on it. To me, the gate looks modern and sleek. It is lightweight, but very STRONG & STURDY. We do not work for this company. I am a 70 year old, retired Clinical Social Work Supervisor. My husband is a 74 year old retired Machinist. We BOTH love dogs. The gate was necessary to keep the dogs safe and out of trouble in the rest of the house. They are both Queensland Healers, medium to large in size who love to play and get rowdy together. They have never messed with the gate. They know it’s a border and leave it alone. However, if they did stand up against it, I believe the gate is strong & sturdy enough, as well as pressure mounted enough to hold their weights of approximately 40-50 lbs. each. It would certainly work for a Baby gate as well. This is the longest review I have ever written and tried to express (in detail) how great this COMOMY GATE is. I guess it’s because I looked at sooo many of the different descriptions of each gate selling on Amazon, that I’m SHOCKED I selected THE PERFECT GATE for us!! I absolutely hate having to return items, though it’s so easy with Amazon. I have absolutely NOTHING NEGATIVE to say about this product. This Comomy extra tall gate has been a perfect solution for keeping both my dog and areas of the house secure. The height (36 inches) is excellent — my dog can’t jump over it, and it adds extra peace of mind for use with children as well. Installation was straightforward, and I really appreciate how it adjusts to wide openings (up to 48.8”). It feels sturdy, the latch mechanism works smoothly, and the self-closing feature is a nice touch. The gate opens in both directions and stays open when needed, which is super convenient. Overall, great quality and value — I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a reliable, tall barrier for stairs or wide doorways.

I’m really happy with this baby gate! It’s sturdy, easy to install, and looks great in my home. The latch is simple to use with one hand but secure enough that my little one can’t figure it out. What really stood out, though, was the customer service — they were quick to respond and went above and beyond to help me when I had thrown out the pieces I needed to bolt the gate into the wall. Highly recommend this gate.

To keep the puppy in one room while he’s being potty trained. It works really well, I appreciate that it swings open in either direction and it isn’t super difficult to open with one hand. It was difficult to install because of decorative baseboards, so I had to install it higher than I wanted. If it’s dark I have to remember to step over the bottom lip because of having to install it higher up but it isn’t really a problem for me. Once it’s installed it’s very sturdy, my family is pretty rough on things and it hasn’t budged or broken. Overall I’d say it’s great for the price, it beats the accordion style gates.

Purchased this gate for the the entry way between my dining room and living room for my dogs. It is made of good quality, sturdy and easy to install and aesthetically eye pleasing. Recommend for children or pets. Good Quality for a reasonable price.

So worth it!!! I’m a dog sitter and I get big dogs all the time. This is perfect to keep the dogs out of the hall towards the rooms. So easy to use. Love the function of having the door that is easy to open and close. The white looks great that it doesn’t look awkward having a gate in place. I’ve had many compliments. The height of it works great that the dogs can’t jump over. It’s been helpful when introducing other dogs together with one on each side. It’s worth every penny.

Best gate I have ever bought! I liked the first one so much I bought another one. This helps keep my littles out and my dogs out of areas I don’t need them to be in. The setup was easy, and I like that it swings both ways. They are still holding up after months of use.

Me gustó muchísimo la calidad de esta puerta, quería algo que combinara con las escaleras y fuera de buena calidad, el montaje fue super sencillo y el mecanismo funciona bien! Mi bebé de año y medio ya esta segura en la planta alta. Espero sea durable :)
