Works well, neat, nice and simple (everything is done by varying the amount of water added - switch it on, wait for it to boil of the water, job done!). No need for fancy displays, buttons and controls. Boiled eggs in varying numbers, soft or hard, and poached eggs worked well. The instructions imply doing only a full tray of 3 poached eggs but I found it was fine with just 2. Get one! I strongly advise covering the markings on the measuring cup with vinyl tape before use, or maybe scratching them on. Mine started to rub off the 2nd time I used it which renders it useless. Philips support were able to provide a replacement right away... but *really*?! It wouldn't have been that hard to make the one essential feature durable enough to last in use.

Bought this to replace a very old Neo cooker. Being disabled with peripheral neuropathy, it means I don’t need to worry about pans with boiling water. First use was last Saturday when I had family here for breakfast. O pierced 6 eggs, poured the required amount of water indicated on messing jug supplied for hard boiled eggs. When the cooked buzzer wentoff I was shocked at the burnt stains on the base of the unit. Try as I did, I couldn’t get the stain completely off. Measuring jug marking were difficult to see and were fading due to handling. I am really annoyed that I cannot send back for refund and now have the added expense of replacing. My mistake for not using earlier

It's not very consistant. It will take several goes to get the amount of water just right, but if you change anything like cooking eggs from the fridge or ambient, or amount of eggs, affects the outcome. The provided measuring jug is only a guide. It requires trial and error. I've eaten too many hard boiled eggs when I want soft or runny, and too many runny when I want a firmer yolk. I'll be switching back to a pan of boiling water, which I'be been using for decades and always makes perfect eggs, despite the extra energy cost.

I have been greatly enjoying boiled eggs cooked with this egg cooker. Can boil up to 6 eggs or poach up to 3 eggs. Comes with a measuring cup that has a needle at the base for puncturing eggs (make them cook faster). You need to use oil or similar on the tray for poached eggs so they don't stick to the tray. Cooks eggs in 3 min to 10 min depending on how runny you want the yolk. There is a loud alarm that sets off automatically when eggs are cooked. Sleek design. Cooks the perfect egg. Amazing value for money. Easy to use and comes with instruction booklet. Less water added = shorter timer & more runny egg.

It works really well, it's small, but it does an amazing job.
