HEROCLIP Small Carabiner Gear Clip with 360° Swivel Hook

I was unsure if these would be worth the extra cost versus a standard carabiner, but these are great! I bought the set for my husband and myself before a trip to Europe. Now, I keep one in my purse all the time. The size is perfect and they are incredibly sturdy. They take a little bit of finesse to unhook (you have to pull the clip/open it before you can rotate the hook portion to use it), but besides that, they are easy to use. They are great to hang a purse off of a table in a restaurant or to hang a backpack in a bathroom when you don't want it to rest on the floor or if there isn't a reliable hook. It also functions like a regular carabiner if needed, but it's not quite as low-profile so it may catch on things more easily. The only issues I've had are if your bag swings a little and the hook portion is on a flat surface—it can move away from its initial position despite it having a rubber end.

I know it might seem silly to get so excited about a clip, but the GEAR AID HEROCLIP is seriously one of those things you don't realize you need until you have it. I originally bought the small one when my son was a baby to clip his diaper bag to things when we were out and about. You know, those restrooms that inexplicably don't have hooks? This clip was a lifesaver! Now that my son's a bit older, it's found a new home on his daily carry bag. He uses it to clip his water bottle, his lunch bag, even his jacket when he gets too warm. It's just so versatile! I love how sturdy it is. Even the small size can hold a surprising amount of weight, and the rubber tip keeps things from slipping. The 360-degree swivel hook is also super handy – it makes it easy to access whatever you've clipped to it. It's compact and lightweight, so it doesn't add any bulk to his bag. And the fact that the hook folds neatly into the carabiner when it's not in use is a nice touch. If you're looking for a simple but incredibly useful tool, the HEROCLIP is a must-have. So handy! It’s one of those things you probably don’t need super often, but when you need it, you need it. I like that it can be used as a regular carabiner too. Sturdy. A budget-friendly must-have for travel. I’d buy one of these for every bag I own if it made financial sense to do so. It’s one of those things you will want to have on you every time you go out, but remembering to transfer it from bag to bag is a challenge. This happened to me the other day. I needed it at a restaurant, but it was on another bag I had used previously. So it’s frustrating. Having multiple would be ideal, but I just can’t convince myself to buy duplicates.

This heroclip helps prevent your bags from sitting on floors especially when in public - worst is public restrooms. No need to look for a door hang since this heroclip can be used as a secondary hanger or tabletop hanger. It looks very tactical, it is very durable (the small can handle my aer city pack 2 even with laptop, 2-3 bottles of water and some power cable and phone cable accessories. Very easy to use and works similar to a carabiner. For bags 18L or higher go medium, or large to be safe. This heroclip is truly a bag saver which is why i have 3 of them for each one of my backpacks

This review infuriates me. This dang carabiner is awesome and you will use it all the time. I have it on my sling bag to keep it off the floor when at restaurants, or hanging on the door of a bathroom stall when there's no hook, etc. It's also handy to clip a water bottle with a loop to, or any number of things that you will discover once you have it. Truly the sort of thing that reveals it's usefulness over time. The plastic swivel that the outer hook attaches to rotates and swings out and basically lets you put the hook wherever you want relative to the carabiner portion, and when closed the tip of the hook sits inside the springy metal gate so that it doesn't flop around. The swivel is plastic but deceptively sturdy and feels like it will last a good long time. If you are planning on using this frequently as a table hook, get something larger than the small. The small works on about 60% of the tables I sit at but many are just too thick to fit the hook around. Ok, so why is it a frustrating review? Because it's unconscionably expensive. MSRP on this thing is just bonkers and I cannot fathom how you can rationalize $25. Or rather, I can, because adding to the frustration is that there just aren't really any good alternatives! You are paying, effectively, for the fact that there just isn't any real competition for what amounts be a very clever but simple idea. So, I don't know. Is it fair to pull a star off for price when the designer / manufacturer is just capitalizing on charging more when they've locked down a niche? Maybe not. But the bottom line is that it's too expensive. Get it on sale.

I bought the small size hero clip for use with my backpack while traveling and I’ve found it very useful. I’ve been mainly using it to hang my backpack off tables so they don’t touch the ground, or been using the heroclip as just a standard carabiner. I’ve found that the size is perfect for a typical backpack. The quality is great - the metal is smooth to the touch, the joints rotate well, and the clip mechanism has a nice spring / snap to it when it closes. As a carabiner it feels quite sturdy and holds items securely, though I haven’t pushed it to its 50lb limit. The “outer hook” rotates cleverly and I’ve found it surprisingly useful. It’s not the cheapest carabiner out there, but I am satisfied with my purchase and felt I got the quality that I paid for!

I keep this clipped to my backpack. It serves all kinds of functions. I can hang things from it, hang the bag if I don't want it on the ground, and it's very durable. I will probably order more.

Excellent product. Have bought 3 now since my wife got one and we all loved it. No need to look for hooks to hang your bag. All you need is a small lip on the edge and you can hang your bag anywhere.

Ich nutze den Heroclip seit knapp einem Monat regelmäßig an meinem Fotorucksack und er hat sich bei verschiedenen Wanderungen wirklich bewährt. Die Idee dahinter ist simpel aber durchdacht, und die Umsetzung überzeugt. Der Karabiner lässt sich schnell und sicher einhängen, sitzt fest und wackelt nicht. Ich hänge damit unterwegs verschiedene Kleinigkeiten an den Rucksack, was die Handhabung auf Tour deutlich angenehmer macht. Die Größe Small ist dabei kompakter als gedacht, aber für leichtere Gegenstände absolut ausreichend. Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide und robust, nach einem Monat regelmäßigem Einsatz in der Natur zeigt er keinerlei Verschleißerscheinungen. Wer einen zuverlässigen und vielseitigen Karabinerhaken für den Alltag oder die Outdoor-Tour sucht, liegt hier gut.

Ich wurde durch YouTube auf den Karabiner aufmerksam. Zunächst hat mich der Preis abgeschreckt. Ich finde 13€ hätte einen geringeren Kaufwiderstand bedeutet. Nun was soll ich sagen, wer häufig mit Rucksäcken seinen Alltag bestreitet wird viele Anwendungen finden. Toll den Rucksack nicht auf den Boden zu legen. Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen.

Mousqueton très pratique pour accrocher un sac sur uns patère dans le train ou à un porte-manteau dans des WC publics ou attacher un sac à un porte bagage dans le train. Je recommande !!!
