Easy to install and remove when needed.
We got air conditioning unit last year but having the window open for the tube when it was 30+ degrees outside meant it still never really for cold enough. This easy to install seal makes a huge difference and I’m really impressed by it. The seal is simple to attach and just requires you to add the Velcro to the window frame and attach the seal. Once attached there’s four zips so you can have the pipe through one hole and still be able to open the other zips to get to the window handle when you need to. You can also cable tie the zips round the tube so it doesn’t come open. The seal doesn’t keep out 100% of the heat but it keeps out enough to make a difference. If you don’t want it attached during the winter months you can just pull the seal off and leave the Velcro up ready to use again next year. At £20.99 (it’s current price) I think this is well worth the money and I’d definitely recommend it.

Good product but a tight fit
Just bought a portable air con unit so needed one of these so I could vent the air hose out of the window but keep the room cool. My window's total exterior rim measurement came to 380 cm so I ordered the 400cm version. The item arrived same day, thanks to Amazon Prime. I found fitting relatively easy. The velcro tape has extremely strong adhesive - be careful not to stick it to your fingers. But because my window swings open from the bottom and has hinges on either side edges, rather than along the top, it has a large gap at the top when it is open. This means that the designed taper of the fabric strip only just overlaps at the top and there is limited spare material for making gussets at the window corners. I proably should have ordered the next size up. But it does seem to work well and the room cools down quickly.

Brilliant!
I didn't think it was going to work, I didn't read the information properly my window isn't the exact type, but it was really easy to install. Fits well, can be removed and put up again in seconds. Seals the window well, stops the cat escaping. Practically perfect in every way!

Follow video to fit
Product works but looks unsightly will only keep up whilst the weather is hot then remove which is a shame as I would like it to be a permanent fixture. Unfortunately its the only way for the types of windows we have and I don't want to put a big hole in out brickwork. You have to band the excess fabric which again looks messy hopefully some one will come up with a classier design in the future. Strong fabric though will see how long it lasts over time.

Very Good
Really good, installation is pretty simple. shortest thinnest bits on the side where the window opens the least and wider bit positioned where the window opens out wider from the frame. The youtube video mentioned is useful. Adhesive is very strong and seems good quality, everything better than expected. When closing the room door there is pressure where I can hear the air pressure slightly pulling the window seal out a little which proves it does a very good job.

Can be a little tricky to install, but it works!
As you can see in the photo, I have a rather annoying casement style window in my living room that opens outwards. Unfortunately I get very little cross-ventilation in my apartment, so when the outside temperatures rise above 24-25 Celsius (75F+), my flat feels like an oven (the temperature gauge on my heater thermostat shows 29C and can go up to 35C on really hot days). The remedy? A portable air conditioner! My living room is 24 feet long by 15 feet deep, so around 360 square feet in size - hence I got a 12,000 BTU rated unit as these are able to easily cool up to around 450 square feet of space. I had done a fair bit of research online and found that most people who rate these portable units poorly seem to install them incorrectly (usually by not properly sealing the window). And yes, they are a bit noisy - but let me tell you - it's worth it! Today while the temperature gauge was showing 27C in my bedroom, my living room was a chilly 20 degrees! A huge difference in feel! This window seal is a pivotal part of the equation. Know that it will fit virtually any window type (including mine, which was not listed, but which I deduced from photos and videos that I saw online), so long as you measure the perimeter correctly and order the right size! Make sure you order the closest size to the perimeter! The only tools you need to complete the installation is a pair of scissors. Follow the instructions carefully (they were pretty clear), and if you get confused, there's a video on YouTube that can be helpful (but it's not rocket science). It took me about 8 to 10 minutes to install the seal. Some thoughts: While the sticky part and Velcro strips on the seal are quite strong / top notch (I stuck mine onto the glass part of my window as the frame had locks in the way, and it sealed flawlessly), I do wish the overall fabric material of the seal was a bit thicker. The reason for this is the material is so thin that I can clearly hear the hose venting the hot air outside the window, and that just adds to the noise factor. HOOMEE - perhaps this is something you can address in a future version of the product? A thicker, more insulating 'Quiet' material? I would gladly pay more for it. But perhaps I'm nitpicking - it works, and it's worth it's weight in gold for me!

Quick fix for portable air conditioning (cascade windows)
This product is definitely worth the money, It was long enough to fit inside a large window. (Window is on half of the wall), it really took around 15min to put this on. Only draw back is Zip, as this does to seal the pipe at all and air gets its way inside the room, I wish there should be rubber fitting to stop air coming in. Nevertheless, it sort the problem and room is quite cold when using the air conditioning.

Makes a huge difference!
If you have or are thinking of getting a portable AC unit then definitely get one of these (or one per window you intend to use the AC unit with), it makes a huge difference when you seal off any outside hot air from getting in. During the recent heatwave here in the UK it's been about 35C outside, but I've been able to keep my room at around 20C, but prior to using the window kit it was probably at best 25C - so well worth it! It is worth adding that you do want to make sure you get a complete seal around the window (as best you can), with my AC unit there was a small gap between the exhaust and the zip as you obviously can't close it all the way, so I just used one of the provided ties and wedged a 5p plastic shopping bag to fill the hole. You'll know if you have a good seal if you can't feel any air being pulled in around the edges of the window (when the door to the room is closed), and also when you try to close the door to the room you should notice a fair bit of resistance when it's nearly shut as the air will be being pulled from the rest of your home. I gave 4/5 for Adhesion as after a few days there was a section of the straps that came off of the window, I did make sure to press down all the way around the window so not sure how it came off but it hasn't happened again so maybe it was me leaving the room and closing the door too quickly and causing the air pressure to pull it away (I mean I have sealed the room pretty well!).

Works great
Way better than the crappy diy foam board I had up before. Was easy to install and so far seems good. I taped it a bit as my dog doesn’t like the flapping sound it makes from the wind so I taped the excess part down but it wouldn’t have needed any extra tape otherwise. Very happy!

Works in outward opening egress windows
I have crank windows that open outward. This worked just fine on mine. All that I had to do was reverse the instructions. Worked great keeping the heat out and the cool in during the summer very easy to install, only about 15mins or so. The velcro is small enough as to not stick out when the adapter isn't in use. It didn't rip when I moved it along the window when I installed it. Seemed pretty thick, probably well enough made to be used for multiple years to come. The zipper being double ended gave enough for the vent and the drain tubing to go out the window. Great for use in a home that only needs a portable AC occasionally.

Good fix for a rental place
The installation took a bit of time, but with watching the YouYube video and one of the clips left in the reviews, I managed to get it right almost straightaway. The only tip I'd pass on would be to make sure you don't attach the corners to the velcro too tightly, cause it will make it harder to open and close the window. I only attached it to three sides of the window, as the fourth side is airtight so I didn't want any faff with extra material. My window opens both ways (kiep-kantel for Dutchies) and the seal works pretty well. I can only use it one way now, but that's fine. If I want to close the window I have to make sure the zipper doesn't get stuck at the top, but I can still close it which is all I need really. I tested it with my aircon and it's great, barely any outside air gets in.

Klare Kaufempfehlung. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
