I rate this murphy bed hardware kit as 3.5 (rounding up to 4) stars due to the perceived quality of the parts in the kit and how well it works. Unfortunately, I can’t describe the level of difficulty with the installation since I hired someone to do that, but it functions and supports the mattress as I had hoped. This is in an office slash guest room, so it’s nice to have more space for the office when it’s not being occupied by a guest.

Overall, I found that the hardware was actually a pretty easy install and the Pistons are now as bad as people were saying. They didn't like that. They get in the way when the bed is unfolded, but I actually didn't find it to be huge issue, especially with some pillows. Overall, a really solid kit!
