I ended up needing to take the flapper door off because it wouldn't open fast enough and water would still leak around the sides. Once the door is removed it works just fine

I took the advice of another reviewer and took off the spring-loaded cap. My washer hose went right in. It fit my 2-in pipe. No more bad smell in my laundry room/ pantry. Absolutely amazing piece!.

The product received is not as same as the picture shown. It’s missing two stop plugs that are shown in the picture!

The product does not work with my hose. My hose is designed to go down the discharge drain several inches. I could possibly cut the flapper off and push the hose through it but I'm not sure if it would work. I just need to return it.
