Our cats (all three!) absolutely love this. As soon as we placed it in the hallway they were straight on it, it’s perfect for a good scratch and is sturdy. I’d imagine in time it’ll need replacing as the cardboard is coming apart the more they use it, but is great value and was easy to put together

I Love this product. You have to put it together but that's easy enough. Made of cardboard so not expecting it to last long but at this price, I'm not above replacing it every few months if it's something that gives the cats good enrichment and this definitely is. It has a ball inside that they can play with but can't get out so that keeps the cats interested in it even if they aren't scratching it, it's not just a scratching post, it's an enrichment tool. Keeps them busy for ages, my biggest boys been trying to get the ball for ten mins now, without losing attention or focus. He will sleep well tonight :) they also like to sit on it and chill. Also I should note, it is fairly weighted and none of my 5 cats have knocked it over even whilst chasing a lazer all round the living room! A scratching post that doesn't fall down that seems ideal for large cats? Yes please :) I would say since I got it a few hours ago, it's been used more than any other toy I have for them including my Lazer robot toy which they go mad for so I'm giving it a 10/10. Wasn't expecting this to be such a hit, really glad I got it :D

This is a great cat scratcher honestly! My cat is obsessed with it and immediately started using it and seems like she doesn't know when to stop😂 It serves as both a way for her to maintain her claws, but also as a good source of enrichment as it helps her get more playful! Especially with that ball installed! It's a good height and size for a standard or even small sized cat and it's very lightweight too! Cons: Only thing I would say is first of all, the stability of it is not so great unfortunately-😭 every time she uses it, it starts moving like crazy, so it does constantly need adjusting or needs to be securely placed. And second con, I'll say I doubt it'll last long enough💔 she's only used it for less than a day since purchase and it's already pretty much wearing away, so value for money.. eh I'll say could be better. Overall though, my cat loves it despite the downsides!

Easy to set up, nice and sturdy, one of the cats has tried it already but she also loves every single scratching post we’ve tried so far while the other two are a bit more reserved. At two for the price of one definitely good value for money! Edit: I only realised now that the box has perforations to transform it into a cat toy, love little details like that :)

Great scratcher- my cats love it and scratch it everyday. Size/height is also great for my chunky British cats. I will buy it again!

It seems good quality and sturdy enough but my cat isn’t very impressed with it.

Way better than the previous version, which used metal screws (see comparison) - the new ones are plastic and much better for the cardboard, and it is a bit bigger/sturdier overall. However this won't stop my cat from eventually destroying it

I think because they want to ship it in a smaller box it comes in pieces that you have to build. I read a glowing review that stated it comes assembled - it does not. We bought the large size because our cat is longer, turns out 68cm is not that large. It comes as 3 cardboard pieces and four bamboo pieces, 16 plastic screws and a ridiculous plastic screwing tool. You also get a ball, a raffia stick soaked in catnip and some plastic bits that seem to have no use. The instructions are clear as mud, after spending half an hour trying to put it together I found out I had done it wrong, because it doesn't tell you which way around to put the pieces together. I then spent another hour putting it together the correct way; There is a large cardboard piece, a medium piece and a small piece ( the " large" size just means they send an extra small piece of cardboard to go on top) There are two flat bamboo pieces and two curved bamboo pieces. The screwing in tool only works one way around and it uses the thick end in the screw the narrow end in your hand which makes it really uncomfortable to hold, especially as it is a really short tool. You can't use a flatbread screwdriver because the screws are plastic. Take the flat piece of bamboo and the short piece of cardboard. Find the smooth side of the cardboard and attach it curved side to the top and match that to the curved top of the flat bamboo and hand screw it in as far as you can but be aware that the sides of the plastic screw are sharp. Then use the plastic tool to screw it in as far as you can, the tool will slip off regularly. Then take the large piece of cardboard, flat but rough edge to the top, flat but smooth side to match the flat bamboo, be aware this will over hang the flat bamboo by quite some way. Screw the final hole of the flat bamboo into the large piece of cardboard . Take one of the curved pieces of cardboard, notice the jigsaw piece end and place it over the matching jigsaw piece end of the already attached flat bamboo. Know that although they fit together it is not a snug fit and will move constantly as you try to screw this into that rest of the exposed large piece of cardboard. Take the small piece of cardboard and not to leave a large gap between it and the bottom of the large piece of cardboard, at a right angle, you are making an L shape. Use an extra pair of hands to hold it along the curve of the bamboo and trey to screw itbin whilst the other pieces keep moving. Turn it over and attach the bamboo in the same way on the other side. It will not be stable with thebling side up as per the product photo so you must lean it on a flat floor against a flat wall yet even then your cat can easily knock it over , so be prepared to constantly pick it up again. The cardboard is soaked in catnip so cats will love it, snuggle and roll on it so it travels everywhere. Unless you screw it into a wall or to the floor but given the poor joins due to their flat pack efforts doing both is probably the only way this stays where you put it. So, my cat loves it, but me, not so much.

The cat loves it but the scratched cardboard makes a real mess as the 'flakes' get everywhere. I also hope it's non-toxic because the cat also chews on the cardboard flakes.

Excellent scratching post ! My black cat loves it. It wears off rather quickly but you can turn it around to use the second space (if your cat only scratch it one way like mine !)
