MudBusters Max Stock Fender Flares for Can-Am Maverick X3 RS (72inch)

I replaced another brand of fenders which had less coverage and less rigidity. This is a 72" Can Am X3 XRC. The ad stated they fit a 72" XRS with no mention of an XRC. I did not have any issues with the installation of the rear and don't expect any issues with the front fender install. The plastic of the Mud Buster fenders are thicker than the previous fenders. A little more rigid but flexible enough for tight trails and a little tree rubbing. I run northeast tight muddy trails. I'm not a fan of mud entering the cab so I opted for the Mud Buster. The upper factory rear fender holes lined up with the Mud Buster fender holes. You will need to drill holes in your unit to line up with the Mud Buster holes in the fender along the forward edge behind the door and in front of the rear tire. I'm satisfied with the look and quality, along with the ease of installation. Time will tell as the mud flies off of the tires. If you are considering additional fender coverage you will like these fenders. The hollow core fenders rub a tree and they're broke. I've been running the single layer fenders with no issues, just lack of coverage until the Mud Buster max coverage. I needed a heat gun to flex pervious fenders to contour to the X3 and keep the lines crisp. The Mud Buster did not require any heat manipulation. Very happy and highly recommend. If that changes I will update this review. I run an X3 several times a week and many miles, all year round. Therefore it is only my opinion that these fenders work well and worth the money. Post script! After full installation and 40 miles of trail, I'm impressed! I intentionally drove threw muddy puddles with next to no mud intruding into the cab. I run a front and rear windshield. The front windshield has a few specks of mud and some water spots after a little speed in the puddles. The rear window is mud free. I'm dry with no mud and the passenger seat is clean. I'm blown away! I regret that i didn't see and purchase the Mud Buster fenders sooner. The X3 looks great too. I highly recommend the Mud Buster max attached to the factory original OEM fender. No need to buy the hollow fenders and add extension. As you will see in the photos. I tried to post enough pictures for anyone to see and understand the setup on an X3 or any other unit.
