Good and cheap. Good coverage and easy to install. Have to follow the directions so it achieves adhesiveness. During the day, You can see out but people see their reflection. At night if the light is on inside,you can see inside from the outside. It's scratch resistant.

Privacy film are great in color and appearance. Installation is easy. When installed correctly with the water bottle, edger and cloth - they stay up with little to no maintenance. Adhere very well to the window. I used in my childcare and the kids haven’t been able to scratch them with toys or anything. It’s great value for the price.

Privacy film is just what I hoped for and more. I recently bought a window bird feeder for my cats to get some enrichment however there excitement scared the birds away till the birds stopped coming. Cats sat and waited for birds to come but none came :( I wasn’t sure at first as I heard birds are scared of there reflection but because they already knew the location of the bird house I figured it would likely work. Now the birds sit and eat while my cats paw, jump, tap and stare at them and the birds have no idea the cats are still there as they were before. It’s so awesome to be able to walk up to the window myself and watch them too. Before they would fly away as soon as they saw me a few feet away. Applying it was super easy. Make sure that when you install this, avoid over saturating the edges where the glass and window frame meet. No matter how much cleaning you do, the liquid will get into the seam and make dirt and debris drip out. The dirt will cause air bubbles and lumps/bumps in the window film. The edges of the film will not stick or stay down if there is dirty liquid dripping down. Also, clean the window really well with a lint free cloth and squeegee if possible to get all particles off window. I didn’t have a spray bottle to make soapy water but the liquid dawn spray bottle would work if you have that. I used a bubble gun and plane squirt bottle I had filled with water to make a soapy surface for the film. One MAJOR DOWNSIDE or two actually was the fact you could only order one roll at a time… I just don’t understand that at all. I have a very large loft window with 12 window panes I only intended to cover two at most but could barely cover one without cutting all these odd crazy rectangles and squares to cover the whole thing. So I have lots of edges instead of just having two pieces the length of my window. I could cut one for half then the rest of the roll only came down half way, so I had to cut whatever odds and ends were left to cover the bottom half right corner. Lastly, I thought this kit came with the tools to to apply the film like in the photo but it didn’t. I used a window squeegee after first using a credit card and realizing it left scratch marks all over the film… so use a rubber squee gee or plastic that is flexible. Credit cards or gift cards will leave swipe marks that are permanent when trying to get all air bubble out. Oh and the film has a helpful grid on the back to assist with cutting, measuring and straight lines. I saw some other products didn’t have this but this one does! Cats are happy, I’m happy 😊 in the photos you can see how close my cat is to the and also the bottom right corner you can see all the pieces I had to cut to cover the whole window. If I could have ordered more than one roll at once it wouldn’t look so janky lol ridiculous.

I’m really impressed with this MAGIDEKOR one-way window privacy film. It does exactly what it promises—during the day, you can see outside clearly, but people can’t see in, which gives a great sense of privacy without making the space feel closed off. Installation was easier than I expected. As long as you take your time, clean the glass well, and use enough water, it goes on smoothly with minimal bubbles. The only down fall for me was the film is smaller than the window so you have to put it in two parts and make sure you dont leave a line were it divides.The film also has a nice reflective look from the outside, which adds a modern touch. One thing to keep in mind is that the one-way effect works best during daylight. At night, when lights are on inside, visibility can reverse, so you may still want curtains or blinds for full privacy. Overall, this is a great, affordable solution if you want privacy while still keeping natural light. I would definitely recommend it!

Updated review January 2026 - The film was holding up until a few days ago. I noticed it was peeling off & likely will need to be reapplied - probably entirely. This is a bit annoying because it hasn't even been 3 months. Buy something else. Original review October 2025 The film applied easily and is working good. Still on day one so I will update if it fails. The little yellow thing is really small compared to other kits but it still works well. I didn't pay attention to the size so I had piece together to make it wide enough but the seams are smooth enough. I would buy it again because it is cheap enough. The UV blocking seems to be working good. Usually our window feels like the sun is beating into the space. Now, the light comes in with only the slightest hint of shade but the heat is turned down significantly. The privacy would be ideal for someone who was looking for it and overall it doesn't look too bad!

These privacy screens are perfect! Now I can walk around windows wide open and me standing at windows with people jogging and kids on their bikes,.,.and me butt 🤬 naked in front of my impenetrable windows screen. Yup now I'm free!! I'm going to have every window in my home. Then I can walk around , but naked everywhere , in my house , total freedom. 100 stars

I had high hopes for the MAGIDEKOR Window Privacy Film, but my experience was mixed. It was not easy to install—getting it smooth without bubbles took a lot of time and patience. While it does provide some privacy during the day, it really didn’t provide much protection from the sun, which was one of the main reasons I purchased it. It looks sleek once up and does give a mirror effect, but if you’re buying it primarily for heat or UV reduction, you may want to look at other options.

I have a place in FL and they work great there I did use them on my PA place and came back to them off the windows so I would not recommend them in cold weather states. They work and stay on in FL
