Perfect USB hub for Batocera
I bought this USB hub so that I could plug in my retro video game controllers to my mini PC running Batocera without having to keep plugging and unplugging them. The individual power buttons for each usb port is perfect because Batocera can get janky when you have a bunch of controllers plugged in at the same time. Now I can just turn on which controller I want to use and it makes things so much easier. I have not had any problems with compatibility as all of my controller to usb adapters work fine. My Logitech Driving Force GT works through it as well. The design of the unit is simple and effective. I have no problems using all of the ports if needed. The lights are bright enough to let me know which ports are active without being too bright and distracting. I think the only problem is that I probably should have got the 16-port USB hub instead of the 10 because I have a lot more controllers to try out. I've not used this hub with a Windows machine yet but I can tell by the way it functions with Batocera that it is a more-than-capable multi port hub that will satisfy the needs of most. Highly recommend.

Quality peripheral to protect your quality peripherals
Works great! Love having all the plugs accessible, as well as the ability to toggle on/off power to individual ports. Purchased this to ensure flight sim peripherals have clean and constant power, and so far it's done the trick admirably. Nice, compact form factor with high quality included cables (power, device).

Perfect for Multi-Drive Ripping Setup — Reliable and Surprisingly Solid
I’m using this hub to run six optical drives at once as part of a custom ripping tower, and it’s been excellent. All drives are detected reliably, no disconnects, and it handles multiple active devices without any issues. The included power adapter provides plenty of power for everything connected. One feature that ended up being more useful than I expected is the individual power switches for each port. They made it much easier to manage multiple drives and were especially helpful when assigning drive letters — being able to turn ports on one at a time saved a lot of hassle. In real use, it’s been stable under continuous load, and nothing gets more than slightly warm. For a setup like this, that’s exactly what I was hoping for. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I received a request for a review within 48 hours of delivery, which felt a bit early since I was still waiting on other parts to fully test it. Not a big deal, just worth noting. Overall, this is a solid, reliable powered hub and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone running multiple devices.

Flexibility and Power here are GREAT!
I have this tiny lightweight device in use on my Bike Desk, mounted on one of two monitor arms, its input attached to a tiny Mini PC that has only a couple USB ports, when I really need at least a good EIGHT! And since I'm testing some USB network connectors, I topped out a full TEN PORTS! And small and light it may be in weight... still its functionality is full and asbsolute! I found connectivity is perfect, solid, compatible and fully functional. Speed is maintained for all ports. I especially love the port switches. No longer do I need to reach over and unplug my mouse that has its quirky need to be reset every couple days... Now I just toggle the switch and it's fine again. The little switches are one visual clue to whether the port is on or not; the other is a subtle but bright enough light that lights up when on, and goes dark when off. Hands down, this is the most valuable switch for the money. It functions SUPER well, maintains POWER regardless of how many devices are connected and active, and FUNCTIONS without flaw. Excellent!

good hub
Works pretty good, but doesn't work for what i wanted. I need a hub that has a better datastream, this one still has the regular datastream which is limited to normal usb bandwidth, so if you have many things plugged in including a HD webcam, the camera will sometimes crash. but still a good usb hub if you want to charge devices, or if the devices actually need more power. solid quality, and comes with a long warranty if you sign up via the included warranty card. so far i have my moza wheel base, midi keyboard, typing keyboard and mouse plugged into it. my tablet is also plugged in and charges, which is nice because a regular usb hub wont charge it. over all is a solid high quality hub, and great for the price.

Good Hub
Works on any USB devices I've plugged into it. The cords are pretty long on it as well if that's a concern for you. I bought this as part of my sim racing set up to connect the many devices I would need to play. Connected it to a 10ft USB extension and it works great!

REVISED DOWNWARD: An important peripheral. So far so good . . .
REVISED REVIEW: I originally gave this USB hub 5 stars. After using it for a few days I have to downgrade this positive review as it was premature. The hub randomly pulls up other USB ports on its own when using a different port. Also, it is quite slow in recognizing a port after making that port active. And on occasion will active an external hard drive that's connected to the computer, not the hub. In general this port acts squirrely. Since it's only a few days old, I hate to think of what is to come a few days down the road. I would not buy this port again. Another example of inferior Chinese quality. ORIGINAL REVIEW This is perhaps my most useful computer peripheral. I keep everything on flash drives. My old USB hub kept erasing flash drives and important information. There's a zillion of these on Amazon so reading the reviews helped. So I got this. It's a bit pricey but it seems so far to be doing all that was advertised. I like the fact that it is powered since I think power out of the back of my computer is not enough and I don't use it to charge things. Also, the on/off switches mean I only have to power up the ones I'm using at the time. 10 ports are sufficient for my needs. And my computer recognizes an active USB drive as soon as I press the button. This is reassuring relative to the old one. Nothing erased so far. But I really can't speak to the long-term reliability since I've not used it for long. I like the rubber footing since it keeps it in place. The adapter brick is sort of big but the connecting cord is long enough so that it can be placed away from the AC plug allowing me to place it atop the computer. It's neat and compact. One big downside is that the blue active indicator lights are not very bright. So far I can recommend it. But take my advice. Don't trust USB flash drives for important stuff. Have one or two active external hard drives at all times. A hassle copy to all the time, but important insurance in my opinion.

Racing Sim Rig
I purchased this for my racing sim rig. This was quite possibly the best purchase I made as it made plugging in everything super simple and easy. Not only does it power my power-hungry ascher ultimate wheel, it does everything else else all while having 1 cord to my PC. If you need a lot of powered USB for your sim rig, you can absolutely benefit from this and keep everything tidy and simple clean.

Heat can be an issue
I replaced my old router because it was over heating and causing the connection to drop. I would noticed that after a minute as the speed would start dropping till the connection fails. This was a replacement to fix that issue but while it is better and has yet to totally fail, the heat is still an issue. USB3.0 rates of data transfer can overwhelm hardware but my old one worked flawlessly for a year before heat became an issue. This started straight away... even with just a single hard drive plugged in (the only physically connected cable) I have had it a week and it works for the small stuff, but when you want 10Gb or more... nope, it overheats and the drive's plug gets real hot. I'm going to set it up on my other PC's and see if it's localized, but I doubt it.
