Perfect little Plex server โ fast transcoding, barely sips power
Picked this up as a dedicated Plex server and it's been fantastic. Intel Quick Sync handles 4K HDR transcoding effortlessly, including tone-mapping down to 1080p, and it does it drawing a tiny fraction of the power a dedicated graphics card needs for the same work. Setup was painless, it runs cool and quiet, and the 5GbE port and dual M.2 slots give it room to grow. It's been rock solid running 24/7. If you want a small, efficient, always-on media server, this is an easy recommendation.

The Little Lunchbox That Could
My gaming laptop ran into some fan troubles that made it unusable during my return to my parents house. At first I thought about buying a casting device for my phone, but then this neat little PC came up for recommendations. After a day or so of research on these types of pcs (and the decent price), I decided to give it a shot. Now let me be clear: I knew from the get-co that this was in no way a โnativeโ gaming, PC nor do I recommend it being used as one (locally anyway). But I did test The Sims 2 Legacy and other retro games, something like that is okay. That all being said, using this lunchbox as a โCloud-gamingโ gaming PC is absolutely perfect in my experience! For AAA games (most games in general really) this is the way to go for this device. Wi-Fi connection is pretty darn good for me so I canโt complain. Iโve tested Xbox CloudGaming, GeForce Now and PlaystationPlus so far. Xbox and GeForce run really solid, while PlayStation is a hit or miss. Thereโs also another cloud provider called ShadowPC but I didnโt get to try it (may update this when I do). Speed wise, shockingly good for its size. I have it connected with my 34โ 175hz monitor and am able to run 99hz. Not bad from what I expected. Style wise, I canโt lieโฆitโs so gosh darn adorable and matches my old pink desk setup. I remember my mom seeing it for the first time and saying โThat little thing is a Computer?!โ Haha. Its size and low power/fan makes it feel as if thereโs no electronic device near the desk. Usually loud fans from consoles or gaming pcs are something my parents are used to, so this little lunchbox really threw a curveball at their expectations when I said I was ordering a new PC. Iโm probably going to leave it with my parents as itโs a great media PC and a handy one for Cloud gaming in case I want to leave my gaming laptop at home.

Surprisingly good
This is a pretty amazing little computer! Although it's tiny and therefore very portable, you obviously need a monitor and keyboard/mouse to go with it. We thought we'd try this as a replacement for the little Lenovo laptop that we've had anchored to a desk for most of it's life anyway, as that laptop isn't upgradable to Win11. This one comes with Win11 Pro, so it should be good for the foreseeable future. It is surprisingly much faster than our little laptop, and has been flawless so far. Getting it up and running was easy, and for routine web browsing and light duty work it barely gets even warm. It easily handles Office Pro applications, and I've even successfully run an architectural CAD program on it. It takes a few seconds or so to render and while I prefer running this software on a computer with a little more horsepower, it's certainly doable. It has also easily handled some photographic image editing. I have not tried video editing or gaming, and my guess is it'll struggle more with these, but assuming you have reasonable expectations it's definitely worth the price paid. Hopefully it holds up as long as the several older laptops I have that are about to be retired with Win10. Two of those started life with Win7 and have been going for years. Time will tell.

Handy light and efficient
This is an excellent machine, small enough to carry around, yet powerful enough for most everyday tasks. It's pretty quiet too, and doesn't heat up too much.

A useful small PC for Windows or Linux
I bought this mini PC because it has two 2.5Gbs Ethernet ports so I can use it as a small router or media streaming box. It came with WIndows 11 Pro but I tested it with MX Linux and it worked well with that also. I actually downloaded the windows drivers and created an Install of Atlas OS (atlasos.net) on a USB drive and installed this, Atlas OS allows you to install a version of Windows removing all the crap Microsoft puts in their OS now-a-days; like defender and all the data it send to Microsoft to track you etc. I then installed Winhance and Explorer patcher to remove further crap like Edge and XBox etc. and to make it work like Windows 10 since I hate the Windows 11 menus etc. This worked well and now I have a useful de-microsofted version of windows so they can't track me using a local account etc. Very pleased with this...

A solid small footprint device for running Windows 11 Pro
I've had good luck with this brand and purchased a similar model earlier (N150). I've also recommended GMKtec to a couple of co-workers. I work in the IT Management Consulting field. My main machine is a Mac, but I often have a need to use some business software that does not run on the Mac (Visio). When Windows 10 fell out of support, I didn't need a high-end Windows machine for my everyday work, so I opted to replace my unsupported Windows 10 machine (which is now running Linux) with the other GMKtec model. I run that GMKtec device headless, and RDP into it from my Mac. This means I do not turn it off. My plans for this device are to install Linux on it. If you are looking for a solid, economical Windows 11 PC (the small footprint is a bonus as well) without spending a fortune, this is the device.

Good little PC
First, I am not a gamer so... I was pleasantly surprised at how this little PC worked. It was very easy to get started with. Comes with Windows 11. I was able to dual boot SuSe Linux after shrinking the windows partition. It's great for basic tasks like surfing the net, email, watching videos, etc. The actual speed it shows is right around 1800 MHz base. The graphics seem to be fine for both windows and Linux using an inexpensive HDMI TV as monitor. WiFi connection was simple. Boot was quick for both windows and Linux. There's not any fans so there's no noise. At 512 GB there's plenty of storage for OS and an external USB drive would be an easy addition if more storage was needed.
