Question 1

How to fix disengaged disc from shaft? I love it!!! Bought two and they broke the same.

I can't imagine it would be possible to fix if the disk comes away from the shaft.But I have work out a dozen or more disks without any breaking so I am wondering how you are using the tool.If the disk is flat on a surface, then there shouldn't be enough force to break it. Are you using the edge of the disk for something? If so, then I can see how pressure could break it.

Question 2

I have a large old barn with peeling red paint...will this stripper remove the peeling paint?

If a disk sander will remove the paint, so will the Paint Eater.  But this tool will do it a little faster and be a little more gentle on the wood.  I found it works very well.  Unless you really have to grand down many layers of hardened paint, to feather the edges for example or remove thick paint, the disks last a long time.  I would buy a few spares though.  With one disk, I removed paint from several doors that had thick paint on them.

Question 3

This only mentions "exterior" Can it be used with this pad to strip stairs, bannister trim? 3M-Scotch-Brite-Contour-Surface-9413NA

Yes, it can be used indoors or outdoors. The circular pad is very course and abrasive to the point it will remove wood if a lot of pressure is used so you would need only the lightest pressure. They caution against using other sanding pads that may fit on the sander, so it is possible to use lighter grade pads. It is not designed to do corners or curved surfaces. I have stripped paint/varnish from more than 1,000 sq. ft. of deck and I am totally satisfied with the Paint Stripper.

Question 4

What is the circumference  of the body of this tool?   Can a woman with smaller hands use this comfortably?  Thank you.

The circumference of the PaintEater is approx 9.5 inches around.  As far as if your hands would fit, that is hard to say because we do not know the size of your hands.
