TBTeek Kitchen Butane Torch with Safety Lock for Baking, Crafts & Steak

This is one of the best torches I’ve ever owned. I purchased my first one for resin work and it has not failed at all. It is easy to fill and always works. The flame is adjustable and the button to press for the ignition is easy to hold as well. I have never had any issues with the fuel leaking during filling or operation. I love the size as it fits comfortably in my hand, yet it packs a nice punch on the flame. The locking mechanism is a plus when you need to use the flame for a longer time. This torch works like a charm, hence the reason this is my second purchase. Don’t get it twisted, as the first one I purchased continues to work after 3+ years and I expect the same from this second torch. I just didn’t want to mix resin tools with kitchen tools. If you are questioning whether to buy this one over others, I would highly recommend this torch. I bought these because I accepted a challenge from my daughter to make Creme Brule for her birthday. Never doing this, I looked up the recipe and it recommended a torch to make the top hard/crunchy. I followed the recipe with very few errors and it came out pretty good. I chilled them and when the time came, I used this torch for the finishing touches and this worked great! Torch was so easy to use and it burned evenly. Easy to use, adjustable flame and everyone was happy with the Creme Brule.

It has a nice quality feeling set up (lil heavy in the hand) but great accuracy with flame and flame adjustment, plenty of locks for safety! Trigger lock OFF and trigger lock ON is a nice safety and convenience set up. Highly portable handheld device. And I’ve not experienced any leaks like in other descriptions. Good torch so far! Good recommendation!

As a small torch, this works great. I’ve used it for caramelizing crème brûlée and even starting my bee smoker. The flame is strong and adjustable, and the safety lock is a nice feature. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that filling it with butane feels a little awkward. When I turn it upside down to refill, the butane tends to puddle around the fill port before it finally starts going in as air bubbles out. It could very well be user error, but it makes me a little nervous during refills. Overall though, it’s been a handy little torch.

If you are looking for a real kitchen torch, this TBTEEK 901 is it. I was surprised how easy it is to manipulate and refill. this butane torch is amazing! especially if you’re lighting those citronella mosquito coils. I was able to light them in >30mph winds at Lake Isabella (california). I was very impressed by that. I love the safety lock mechanism so I don’t accidentally catch something on fire. It was also simple to refill the butane. Highly recommend this product.

This kitchen torch worked perfectly. It loaded the butane easily, ignited with a touch of the button, and provided a focused flame as desired.

My torch stopped working within 3 days possibly to over using it and igniting it i reccomend the company to only give a 6 month warranty cut the cost of the thermal protected plastic by 3d printed steel frames for the ignitor and rubber anti burn proof silicone plastic composite 3d printed handles with a longer knozzle that goes inward and a smaller version call it the arc igniter torch v1 by your companies name i filled it up 3 times it seems to run out fast try using a lever mechanism for the ignition of the torch to only pull a little butane then youll last 3-6x more longer and make replaceable nozzles for the torch they usually tend to burn out after excessive use overall good quality product for igniting a fire to burn wood or small jewelry modifications to fuse the metal together i wish i could get a replacement but ill be good its to late now im being honest it wasnt dropped or anything i even filled it up with some good butane anywho godbless and thankyou AA++ product overall needs a extender ignitor dual mechanism leverl to pull the butane thinner handle and rubber grip with anti flame built in protective sleeve while filling the torch up over good decent over torch thanks

The torch is weak, hard to fill and inconvenient. I'm looking for a new ome atm

Really happy with this overall. It arrived as expected, just bear in mind it comes empty so you will need a butane can ready to use it straight away. On the lower flame setting it is quite weak and the flame can go out after a few seconds, so I found that setting pretty pointless. However, once you turn it up it works great. Strong, consistent flame and does exactly what you need it to. For the price, definitely a good buy, just don’t expect much from the lowest setting.
