Excellent wheelchair
Completely new to wheelchairs but delighted with this one for the price and quality. Arrived in a sturdy box, all I had to do was clip on the footrests and it was good to go. Very comfortable (I happily used it as an extra chair in my mumโs care home room) and very manoeuvrable. Fits into a VW Polo boot and itโs quite easy to lift in / out as not too heavy. Delighted with this for the price and lovely to have a choice of colour too. No one actually โwantsโ a wheelchair but this one doesnโt make it feel so bad!

This is brilliant !
This chair is brilliant - absolutely worth the money. FOLDING / SETTING UP - Incredibly easy to set up and fold away for transport, it literally involves clicking two little levers to fold the back down, then pushing the sides together - takes 10 seconds. To set up, push the sides apart and push the handles forward till they click - also takes ten seconds. I always thought wheelchairs were difficult to set up - not this one ! SIZE AND WEIGHT - I bought the standard size - perfect for my mother, but would be too small for a large or heavy person (NB there is a larger size). Very sturdy frame. The seat and backrest are fabric (not rigid) but nice and strong, and my mother said the fabric seat was more comfortable than a rigid seat. I am a middle aged woman and I can lift this into the boot of my car without difficulty, but an elderly person might find it too heavy. FOOT RESTS - can be swung completely out of the way to make it easy to get in and out. Can also be removed very easily for transport (just click the little lever) BRAKES - cable brake like a bicycle brake so you can control the chair on slopes. You can also apply brakes in parking mode, if you want to let go of the chair - push the brake levers down firmly (NB they are very stiff to start with, first time I thought I was going to snap the levers but they soon loosened up). The brakes are pretty good - I tested them by parking the chair on a steep slope then getting in and out DELIVERY - the chair was delivered next day, despite being on standard 7 day delivery. I also contacted the seller to ask a question and they were very helpful I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants an easy to transport chair. Five stars

Great wheelchair fits in my tiny boot & is light
I purchased this wheelchair for my disabled 8 year old son. He has a huge wheelchair supplied by wheelchair services but it weighs 36 kg and I can not lift it easily and it doesnโt fit into the boot of most cars. I also have arthritis so a light wheelchair is essential. He is tall for his age ( wearing 10-11 clothes) and the narrow sized chair I purchased is perfect for him. His feet just touch the footplates at the highest position without a seat cushion , which I purchased as an extra and it was not needed as the chair is very well padded and comfy. I should imagine he has a few years of use in this chair. It folds up nice and small and even fits in the boot of my tiny 2017 Kia Picanto with the parcel shelf removed and I still have room for 3 bags of groceries ! It is light and easy to lift in and out of the car. It is very easy to push and looks nice. The lap belt is very useful for a child but he can undo it, so parents of children should consider that. I use a special neoprene positioning safety strap which is removable and fastens at the back to keep him safe. You can buy these for about ยฃ20. This chair was an absolute bargain at ยฃ99 on Prime and delivered within 48 hours. It is over ยฃ160 cheaper than if you purchased it directly from the company that make them. I saw this exact chair in a local mobility shop for ยฃ299 and was able to try it before I purchased it. Very pleased with this chair, it will mean I can get out and about with my son more.

Review after a couple of years regular use.
I've been using this chair for my Mum (aged 97) for about 2 years now. She's mobile with a frame, but occasionally we have to deploy the chair in the house, and whenever we go out (hospital visits, into the garden, etc). Generally I've found the chair to be robust enough to be stable in use. The brakes are efficient, and it's easy enough to steer. Everything has worked as intended with a couple of minor niggles which I'll come to. It folds down by folding the foot rests back, closing the chair frame, and collapsing the back, for transport. It's light enough to lift in and out the back of a car. I think it would fit in the back of any hatchback car. I have a fairly large "estate style" car so difficult to comment on small hatchbacks (VW Polo and similar), but I wouldn't think there would be a major problem. Things you really need to consider. 1. I'm fairly healthy and fit. You'd also need to be fairly capable to fold it up and lift it in and out of a car boot area. It's not that heavy, but neither is it super light, and I find it awkward, even when folded. 2. It's not designed for someone to sit in all day. For occasional use, it's fine, but for someone who is wheelchair dependant, and spends a lot of time in their chair, you'd need to get proper advice from properly qualified physios or OTs. I have discovered a couple of small niggles. The brake cables stick out past the widest part of the chair (see attached photos). On two separate occasions the break cable has snagged a door handle inside the house. It appears to be just at the right height to catch them on the way past. I've had to use a cable tie to pull it in and keep it tight to the frame. I minor design flaw I think. The other niggle is the clip to secure the foot rest in place. The one on the right appears to be just too weak to click into position to secure the foot rest in place when deployed, and so requires a little push to correctly seat the clip and secure the footrest. On a couple of occasions the foot rest has not been secured, and Mum's foot has swung out to the side while using the chair, potentially causing a hazard that could lead to injury if the person pushing isn't watching to the front. Som a few minor issues to be aware of. None of them are deal breakers. Four out of five stars. Manufacturers should clip the break cables into place, and secure them to the frame. Also, ensure the springs on the foot rests are powerful enough to push the clips home to secure the footrests in position. Apart from that, nice chair, and does the job intended. I have attached photos of footrest clip and brake cable issues to illustrate my points.

Great Value Easy to Store Used in Care Home
Great value for money. Easy to use. Purchased for relative in care home and this was perfect, easy to fold and store. Used indoors and out. Sturdy enough and easy to manoeuvre.

Nice Solid Safe Wheelchair
I can recommend this wheelchair. We have had it for two months and it is well built and folds easily. Not as light as I had hoped but any lighter would mean it would be less robust. The brakes work well and the locking brakes (push the brakes down hard) work well even on slopes. We went for the British Racing Green colour and it looks good. My Wife is the one who sits in it and she feels comfortable and safe although we did buy a cushion to make it more comfy.

Brakes lock on if one pushes down the brake handles.
Good price light and compact chair and contrary to other review does have brake lock on feature- just push brake handles downwards.
