KastKing Royale Legend Pro Twin-Tip Spinning & Casting Fishing Rods

I love my KastKing Royale Legend Pro rod and reel. The color is just stunning and the durability and quality of the rod is exceptional. It is just the right weight as well. Costs a bit more than a cheap rod, but is way worth it. Great value for the cost. Feels great in your hand! Can't go wrong with KastKing products!

The pole is a beautiful color. My wife loves it. The grip feels really nice too. Only problem is the description is a bit off on the line weight. Description says 6-10lb line but the pole says 4-8lb line so if line weight is a deciding factor make sure to pay attention.

Do not expect a quality rod or quality customer service! This review is more about Kastking as a company and why, after buying at least a dozen Kastking products, I will never buy another one. I purchased a beautiful rod and reel for almost $200, and I used it for one season, maybe 5 or 6 times. The next season, after getting to our campsite, I pulled it out to rig it and the tip was broken. I have no idea how it broke. It travels with about 10 other poles and none of them were damaged. I pulled it out a few times during off-season to show people, and it was fine. Regardless, after getting home, I was one week after the one year warranty period but I figured there might be a chance they'd still honor it but either way I wanted a new tip even if I had to pay for it. After contacting them, they would not replace it under warranty and could not offer ANY repair or replacement bc they didn't have any tips in stock. This prompted me to ask them how they are servicing active warranties to which they replied, For customers who are currently within the warranty period, warranty claims are handled according to the product’s condition and the available replacement options. So I guess if they are out of stock even those covered under warranty are out of luck. Not only that, now they sell the same pole, but it comes with an extra tip, which tells me they know it's a problem but don't care about those who purchased it before. IMPORTANT to note, the price of the rod has increased since they added the extra tip BUT you would need to break both tips before before any warranty service. I confirmed this with them. So basically, they realized the problem with their rods and this is their backhanded way to make customers pay for the tips that break and by the time the second one breaks you're probably past the one year warranty. You would think the purpose of the second tip would be to have one on hand IF it breaks not because they expect it to break. If I pay for a rod with two tips, I want both tips covered under the warranty. I was a fan of Kastking prior to this and am really shocked that this is how they back up their products.

Love this rod and reel. Very light weight. I've bought 4 more since I liked it so much.
