I bought the 12x20 Khaki colored carport. I did about 90% of the installation alone but found that having 2 more people helped when I realized I put the top tarp on upside down and lifted it up. The instructions should tell you to put the top tarp on before installing the legs. Because I saw that as an issue I added the top tarp without following instructions and put the tarp on upside down and it cost me a lot of time and effort. This was more of a me issue but I’m sure I’m not the only one. I also expected screws but was delighted to see snap buttons. The little buttons that you push in and they pop out into the designated hole. So I didn’t have to use any tools and this made it very easy to put together. The AI chat told me the front and back open which is true, however the back does not have a zipper like the front. It’s something I expected but didn’t want to return it because I felt it would be too much of a hassle. I also wish the feet had more surface area. Not everyone has dirt they can drive a stake through. Also, not everyone can bolt it down. Having bigger feet would allow for bigger sandbags and making it more safe for people to keep the carport from tornadoing out into neverland. I’ll update my review after winter in hopes that it lasts! Update, I bought this in October of 2025, it is now June 6, 2026. It has definitely survived the winter months however we had absolutely no snow. The back left leg has completely shifted and sits at about a 60 degree angle, 4 of the rest of the legs are also bent but not as bad. The tarp has faced some challenges as well. The Velcro that goes around the legs that create the door have almost all torn, the roll up on the front has buckles and 2 of the 4 have torn. I live in a windy area but thought if it had protection with 3 of the 4 sides pretty well protected it wouldn’t damage so much. I would not recommend this product if you live in a windy area. The only positive note I do have is the top tarp has not torn.

Update 30 April: after being torn apart by the wind, I got the shelter back up and anchored more strongly. We haven't had winds as strong as the ones that tore it apart initially, but the weaknesses in this product are showing themselves more. -- The velcro attachments are next to useless at this point. Don't hold up to the gentlest of a breeze. -- the straps with clicks designed to hold open the rolled up doors and windows are just coming off - can't tell if it's a function of poor sewing or crummy materials, but it's certainly not a function of hard use. I've been very gentle with this thing ever since I realized it couldn't handle much. See photo. -- The vinyl or plastic material the shelter is made of has gone weird. Also, gotten very puckery and not only looks like crap, but suggests it's a very weak fabric. I was generous before with two stars. I took the last star off for this. I was pretty impressed with the engineering as I was assembling this, and the poles were sturdier than I would have expected. It went up pretty easily (and I'm in my mid 70s. Did ask my wife to help get it up onto the poles, not sure how strong the poles would be, but otherwise a one person job). Was very hopeful. But ... Less than a week later we had a storm (and our "storms" aren't really that bad) with wind gusts into only the 20s, and it was too much for this. I bought extra sandbags and had them on all poles, and had it tied down with guy lines, but if I hadn't gone out and disassembled it in the rain, it'd be in the next county. The zippers all unzipped, the Velcro on the windows didn't hold. Some grommets tore out but no other damage. But I can't use this to keep a car - or anything else you want to keep dry - sheltered. I would think if you never get winds over 10-12 mph, this would be fine, but that's pretty limiting, hence just the 2 stars

Honestly for the price, this thing is a great deal. The first one i got ended having a defective part that caused the port to fly away. Contacted the seller right away and they took care of me immediately. After receiving the replacement, Having it properly secured This thing survived the Storm that just hit Seattle/tacoma area on 11/19/2024. With that being said, I am going to be curious on how it handles the snowy weather. As of now, it has proven to withstand the category 1 storm that hit my area, which was about 40mph winds Picture was taken the night after the storm. After almost a year, i finally took it down. It survived the multiple “hurricane” weather that SEATTLE/Tacoma had this year. the only things that went wrong were the straps, that hold the windows up, they deteriorated after sitting on the sun. Definitely worth the money, It helped me get a couple cars back on the road. PLEASE, SECURE THIS PROPERLY. i used 8 blocks of stone to hold each leg down. This kept the port sturdy and kept it from flying away.

This is a great budget option for vehicle storage. Super easy setup. Looks like it would be really easy to pack up and move. The frame seems very sturdy and it’s heavy enough that it wouldn’t blow away probably. However, be careful when putting the actual tenting on the frame. The seams are easy to tear if you’re having to pull on it to get it situated. I wish that the tenting was able to be weighed down and not just the frame after tenting is tied to the frame. Seems to keep rain and sun out well. Sadly, this is only for a smaller vehicle. We fit an Audi Q5 it with plenty of room to spare in the front and back and side to side but the roof of it almost touched the doorway of the garage. I wouldn’t recommend this if you were planning on keeping a lifted truck in here. Anyway, not a bad option for the low price.

The tarps are cheap, thin, rip very fast. Didnt even make it a whole year. I know it says to take it down everytime and that is why... the tarps are not what the photo seems and looks like they are super thin and will not last outdoors your better off to buy heavy duty tarps to replace it once it does fall apart because it will and not to mention its going to leave string all over your yard.. All the poles held up during harsh weather as i installed them deep into the ground with concrete and held down with heavy duty rope on each side. Other then that the tarps SUCK.. Just give us an option for thicker tarps and raise the price up nobody wants to take this thing down everytime its a carport whats the point then.

I am very happy with my carport tent and it has survived some pretty intense storms with high winds and heavy rain. I secured it to the ground with extra stakes and added stiffness with diagonal ropes inside. It hasn't ripped or moved. The Velcro widows and corner curtains allow high winds to pass through and the frame is very sturdy with the added tie down ropes. I recommend getting bigger stakes for storms but regular winds the ones provided are fine with the weighted sand bags. The zippers and straps are very sturdy and work easily. Assembly was easy and had the whole thing up in about an hour. Perfect for storing in my RV with easy break down and assembly. The fabric panels are strong and water tight. For the price very good product and hope to be using it for years to come.

UPDATE! THE COMPANY TRULY HEARD OUR PLEAS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT AND SHIPPED US A NEW ONE MADE MUCH BETTER. CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH FOR DOING SO. Is not durable in windy conditions. Grommets all pull out in very short time. The velcro closure for windows is placed too far apart and wind causes them to open very easily causing wind lift of tent and blow over hazard several occasions. Ground spikes do nothing to hold tent in place for regular usage. Wasted our money on this.

Pretty average carport, honestly would choose from someone/somewhere else. Has needed extra support that did not come included and still moves a fair amount from the wind/storms, (I typically have to move the structure and fix the sand bags after I get home from work at least once a week). The material is also cheap in my opinion, although I understand that $300 is not much when it comes to a structure but was still hoping for better. The picture shown is my port after less than 7 months (a main support with the sandbag snapped). It did make it through the winter and was fairly simple to assemble, though that’s about it as far as pros go for me.
