Amazing tablet!!! Worth the monthly plan or full!!
I absolutely LOVE this tablet!! I needed to upgrade from my 2020 tab a7. I first got the a9 plus.. which.. If you want a huge tablet, almost the size of a lap top, then the a9 plus is amazing. But the 11 inch was way too big for my taste and to carry and use . I like the 10.4 inch screens best , large enough to stream , small enough to hold with one hand . I will say the S pen is a game changer as someone who loves to write and draw. The picture and sound quality is better than the a9 plus . The sound is amazing even though it only has 2 speakers , it sounds better than the quad on the a9 plus. If you are looking to stream, make art, use social media apps and light games this is great. If you are a gamer or using for work, you might need the extra ram of the a9 plus. This one is 64 but even the 126 gb is only gs of RAM. Which is fine with me. I have no issues. But the 8 is of RAM with the 128 in the a9+ was very fast and smooth. .. good for serious gamers . I am in love with this s6 lite though!! I prefer it to the a9+. The sound, picture, S pen, so great. The battery life is really good.

Great Tablet
Love this tablet, works great, does everything I need it to do. I really like the stylus pen and the split screen feature when taking notes. Screen is bright and vivid. I'm not a gamer, so I wouldn't really know what to look for in a display, but this tablet looks great to me.

Great screen, great pen, great software, passable battery.
Aside from simply browsing the internet and checking email etc, which every tablet should be able to do, there are two main reasons to get this tablet IMHO. It excels at drawing. It's been a while since I've looked into drawing tablets - back in the day if you wanted a good tablet for drawing you got a mid screen and all it did was draw. No internet, nothing. This is a full fat tablet (that basically does the role of a desktop or laptop for your average user) and it has a great pen experience. I've been drawing with krita, which is a very feature dense program and there is no lag. The other thing it does great is media. The screen is awesome and the speakers are surprisingly loud. Because it's in the android ecosystem you can run Firefox as your browser and get ublock origin meaning you never have to see ads as long as you're using Firefox (notably for YouTube). The tablet also natively will keep playing YouTube when you turn off the screen. Or at least it does with Firefox - never had any desire to download the app, frankly. The screen is big enough to be a significant improvement over even a large phone. But not so big that it feels hard to be portable. The other half of media is games. Obviously this is not a gaming PC. It's not going to run any real heavy duty games. But if you want it for mobile games especially card games like slay the spire, legends of runeterra, or hearthstone, then this is just basically the perfect device for them. The screen has great color and contrast, so since graphical fidelity is not the limiter with these, they can actually look better on this than a PC because the screen is great. It's also basically the perfect size for card games. Large enough to feel like the full primo experience, but small enough you don't feel like you are dragging your finger across miles of realestate for every action. Seems the one place that isn't amazing is the battery. The battery is fine. It's not bad, it's not great. It will last you long enough, but it's not going to knock your socks off. Unless you have a really specific reason that you absolutely NEED a larger screen or something, I can't really imagine recommending a different tablet at the moment.

Bought for drawing
I find it odd that this is marketed as a student tablet. For school work, yes, it's an excellent tablet. But do kids stay on track? I've heard it's only okay for games, lacking the RAM needed for the more graphically intensive ones. I wouldn't know.…It also lacks the RAM for intensive video editing. I bought it because a couple of YouTubers who review art tech recommended it as one of the best budget tablets for art (Brad Colbow and Teoh on Tech). I have a 13" iPad Air (both Samsung and Apple tablets are 2024 models) that I use every day. Getting a Samsung has been pulling on me for months so I could compare the platforms and apps. Specifically I've wanted to try Krita (found it's a nightmare still not properly adapted to Android). Along with being a quality tablet, a primary reason it's recommended is that it comes with an S-Pen. The S-Pen works really well and is reputed to be one of the best styluses for Android. Essential stylus features: pressure sensitivity and tilt. Check. Hover is a handy. Check. And there's a side button that's popular with productivity types but artists often disable. Well, it's there to ease your day or drive you crazy.…It feels like drawing with a Bic Stic. Small and very light weight. It's so short it kept falling out of my hand because I have severe neuropathy (I bought a Staedtler Noris Classic, which is longer and fits in my hand like a new #2 pencil—it functions just like the S-Pen because they use the same Wacom tech). The other problem I had because of neuropathy is that the tablet itself kept slipping out of my grasp. Like any tablet it's very smooth. Really, it should have a cover regardless of its slipperiness. I bought one that resembles the official case shipped with the 2022 S6 Lite. Problem solved. Art apps for Android are so disappointing. There are a few really good ones.…I have HiPaint and MediBang Paint on both Apple and Android. The advertising seems more aggressive through the Play Store than the App Store. MediBang is shoddier on Android. HiPaint has extra features on Android, though the gap seems to be narrowing quickly.…Krita could be great with some development. Clip Studio Paint is expensive. Infinite Painter is good. Sketchbook is good. Because I now have two devices I'm tempted to subscribe to Concepts—aimed at architects, so great sketching but not a painting app. The situation isn't bleak but very few of my favorite art apps are available on Android. Still, this is a really good tablet for art. The S6 Lite isn't powerful but for most of what you'd do it's a quality device. Now that I'm getting used to it I like the Android experience. Definitely good enough for drawing. That's what I wanted to find out. If—and that's a big if—I get out of the house to sketch this will be my travel tablet.

Galaxy Tab S6 Lite - Good for light gaming & casual use
I purchased this tablet (Samsung tab s6 Lite, 128gb storage, expandable SD card storage, 4gb RAM, wi-fi only version) back in April 2025. I think it was a nice purchase, especially since I have a Samsung ecosystem already (phone & watch). The product came with everything (box, S Pen, charging cord) and no damage. There's nothing "wrong" or "faulty" with the tablet, but I'm only giving it 4 out of 5 stars because about 1 year later I find myself upgrading and purchasing a higher-performing Samsung tablet. I originally purchased this Tab S6 Lite specifically to play a mobile game called Love and Deepspace. The tablet's screen display is great, but my game has been developing in a way that this tablet's processing power can't keep up (choppy/lagging graphics), which is kind of killing my gaming experience. I'm not a heavy gamer in the slightest, but I understand that both the processer and RAM gb play a huge role in performance.... I think the Tab S6 Lite is a great option for light gaming and casual use. I hate that I need different device for my game, otherwise it's a nice tablet. But I'm giving this to my 50 yr old mother, and it's been perfect for her.

For the money, best value! Screen, size, battery, all good!!
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite for some time now. I have the 2024 version. Overall, I have been very pleased with the performance. Shortly after setting it up, I did experience some flickering of the screen. I researched and turned off the developer mode and changed out my SD card. That seemed to do the trick. I am operating OS14 and it runs very well. The battery runs good and the only thing missing from a refurbished model was the S Pen. I ordered an off brand and it works just the same as the original. I have had other Samsung tablets so I am pretty experienced at getting it up and running. I use this tablet more than my iPad since the size is better and the battery seems to last a lot longer. Technically, the screen specs say it isn't as bright as my iPad (10th generation), but even outside, I can see the screen pretty clear. One of the things I really like about the S6 Lite is it is the right size for a GPS for my travels. I am writing this review on a iClever foldable keyboard and am using Samsung Notes. So that I dont run out of room on the tablet, I make sure all my apps that can use the SD card, use it. Some apps say they can use the SD card but don't run well on it. Most of the major apps I use do use the SD card correctly. So I guess it is not as seemless for nubies first time operating the android system but once you get use to the system, it is very stable and offers almost as much as the iPad system IMO for less cost. I have not experienced any light leaks or any other issues than I described. My tablet was refurbished and in excellent condition just without the S Pen. If you are on the fence, you should order. Amazon has the 30 day return policy. Just set it up and use it every day. That way you will know if you got a good one or a lemon and that is true for anything I purchase. Use it intently in the beginning to see if there is anything wrong with it. I am pleased with my tablet. Hopefully, I have given enough information for those looking to purchase. I did not receive anything for this positive review. That isn't the way I roll.

Good choice.
Good for you average tablet needs. Drawing, typing & work. Or if you like playing tablet games. Recommend getting a case for it.

Could be faster, but excellent value at price point.
Bought this on discount. Definitely worth the price at the point. With the S-Pen and the good usability of the tablet, I find it very useful for browsing and doing minor edits in Google Docs, etc. The battery life is pretty decent, and the screen and sound is pretty good for watching videos. Better than the Kindle 10 fire. So if you only want to watch videos / browse and not do much else, buying a Kindle 10 Fire on discount is probably a better deal. Though if you want to do more productivity stuff, the S-Pen that comes with it is very handy. There are plenty of affordable and sturdy cases for this device that will also hold the pen. In terms of speed, it works fine. But if you've used an iPad Pro, you will notice it has more of a lag when loading new web pages. Not enough to matter, but to be noted if you're used to the rapid loading speeds. Upon initial device setup, there's a lot of software updates, etc. which makes the lag more noticeable until they're all done. Finally, you can also consider the Samsung FE tablet, which is more premium table for more money. I ended up sticking with this one, not because of the price, but because that one is about 20% heavier, and this lightweight tablet made it so easy to carry and use. Also, there are sometimes trade programs to get the FE tablet. If you use this one for a few years, then pay a little bit to get more for a new FE tablet, then it's an even better deal. But you can't go wrong with the FE tablet now too if you're in the market for a more powerful device.

Great for first timers of S-pen stylus users
For the price, this is one of the best one to get if you are entering into the tablet platform with stylus function especially S-pen. An updated version of the same model in 2022, this is still better than the A series, if you are looking for low-mid range performance.

Perfect Tablet for Study + Everyday Use
I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The 10.4" display is bright and clear, perfect for reading, browsing, and watching videos. Performance is smooth for studying, note-taking, and even light gaming. The S Pen is the best part — no charging required, very responsive, and great for writing notes or drawing. Battery life is strong, easily lasting a full day of normal use. I also love that storage is expandable, so I don’t have to worry about running out of space. The build quality feels premium, it’s lightweight, and the Oxford Gray color looks sleek. For the price, this tablet delivers excellent value. Highly recommended for students or anyone needing a reliable everyday tablet.
