Great item, used on some decorative products in the garden, goes on well and dries a great colour

Iv'e used this particular brand & colour many times it's brilliant makes the decking wood look like new

So far I have almost managed one coat of my deck and I am pleased with how it goes on and since that first coat it has rained non stop and I can see water pooling on the surface really effectively so I know that even without the 2nd coat it is already protecting the wood well! Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the calculator on the website said I should only need 2 and a bit cans for my large deck to provide 2 coats and I have used 2 full cans already (applying with a pad not a spray) and not even completed the deck with one coat. I will therefore need 4 cans (although with some left over I am sure). Fingers crossed it gives me a couple of years good protection because 4 cans is (even at this best price around) is over £90. Also to note is that the colour change from bare wood to after the oil is dry is very minimal. Just a slight yellow or brightness to it now which I like.

I used Cuprinol 5122415 UV Guard Decking Oil in Natural Oak on my garden decking and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. The oil soaked in beautifully, enhancing the wood’s natural colour and giving it a warm, rich finish. It feels more protected against the weather, and fade so far seems minimal. Easy to apply with a brush or roller and dries at a good pace. Overall excellent for freshening up outdoor wood!

I used the uv decking oil, colour natural, 5l, 2 coats, 12sqm of decking. Worked very well, easy to apply, gives lovely shiny golden tone to the colour of your wooden decking. When it applies it looks like milk, but it dries down completely clear. As it applies like milk its consistency is very thin. But this thin consistency helps to get into the little gaps of the wooden texture. I applied with a decking brush and it was very easy. I have about 12sqm decking and the 5l were more than plenty. I have about 300ml left. The oil leaves a nice, slightly sticky texture once dried, which makes the decking less slippery and gives the feet a good grip on the decking. Overall I can recommend this product. It's the second time that I have used it. I used it 2 years ago and had an equally good experience last time. It should last us another 1-2 years.

Easy to apply with a shed and fence brush. It looks quite milky when applied but it all dried up nice and clear. I used two coats as instructed. 3000×3000mm decking area. I used about 2ltrs of the can. I didn't use it sparingly. The decking it was applied to was treated timber and it had only been down 1 year, and weathered in over the winter. There was slight U.V damage to the boarding areas exposed to direct sunlight which had not been covered by furniture. These areas are still slightly lighter in colour after the use of this product. I am still very happy with the overall look and effectiveness. I'm sure this will see my decking protected for another winter. I can't say how well it would work on older more tired decking. More coats required, I should imagine.
