A vivid gorgeous and fascinating read!

I bought this book as a present and it was very well received.David Austin is a leading name in the supply of all types of roses, and this book features many, beautifully photographed and described. It is a large book - not one that people are expected to sit down and read from cover to cover but one for thumbing through on a regular basis and for use as a reference when researching a particular named rose.Recommended.

This is an excellent book and much larger than I had expected, 300+ pages. There are more than 100 full page high quality colour photographs of roses and many more within the text sections. It makes you want to buy them all! It is an ideal present either for the coffee table or as a reference book for the keen amateur.

A lovely book - it makes you want to rush out and buy lots of roses ! I agree with the reviewer who said it is more of a coffee-table book than a practical guide, but it's none the worse for that. The photography is outstanding and it's a pleasure just to browse through it

For anyone that loves roses this would be a great gift as it is chock full of beautiful photograph's of the most beautiful roses. Also a great book for gardeners planning a new area in the garden as there is heaps of information in the book as well.

then time will stand still for this. I don't usually like coffee table books, but I'm transported into my special rose place when looking at this.
