This is a pretty cable cable so there's not really much I can say in a review, but it appears to do the job well. This is designed to fit the USB2.0 headers directly on a motherboard, so you need to make sure you've got one spare. My particular ASUS motherboard has two of these, but my case front panel is USB3.0 so uses a different header meaning I have plenty free. My main use for this is to provide power to a USB device. I haven't tested it with any device that performs any sort of input, output or data transfer so I cannot comment on the reliability of it for these purposes, but I can't see why it would cause any issues. I purchased a USB-powered acrylic night light with the intention of sitting this inside my rather large PC tower case as a decorative piece. As it sits internally to the PC and no internal USB ports, I used this header cable to provide an internal USB port to power this light from. This means the cables run 100% internal to the case and can be very well hidden with the case's built in cable management.

I bought this to extend a USB2 motherboard header to internal connections so I could connect devices internally in my case. Works as expected.

In the photos this shows all pins are open, this had me concerned. I can confirm that one pin is correctly blanked making fitment impossible to get wrong. It works just fine as well, for me the cables are a bit to long, but I guess that up to your case setup.

Purchased this to look cool at a friends wedding, and it worked, blew everyone’s mind, just superb

Embora a embalagem da transportadora não apresente qualquer dano, o produto no interior estava danificado. Apresentava sinais claro de ferrugem, fungos / bolor. Foi solicitada a devolução / reembolso.

Ce câble fait exactement ce pour quoi il est conçu. Je l’ai utilisé pour connecter des périphériques internes (contrôleur RGB, AIO, Bluetooth interne), et tout a été reconnu immédiatement par la carte mère, sans configuration particulière. La longueur de 50 cm est largement suffisante pour un boîtier moyen ou grand tour, ce qui facilite le rangement des câbles. Les connecteurs tiennent bien en place, le câble est suffisamment souple et la qualité globale est correcte pour ce type d’accessoire. Idéal si votre carte mère manque de headers USB internes ou si vous avez plusieurs périphériques nécessitant une connexion USB 2.0 interne. Points positifs : ✔️ Fonctionne parfaitement dès le branchement ✔️ Ajoute 2 ports USB 2.0 internes ✔️ Longueur confortable (50 cm) ✔️ Bonne compatibilité cartes mères ✔️ Installation simple et rapide Points à améliorer : ❌ USB 2.0 uniquement (normal pour ce type de câble) ❌ Pas de système de fixation pour les ports femelles Conclusion : Un accessoire simple mais indispensable pour les configurations PC modernes avec plusieurs équipements internes.
