Great for an arm injury, soft but very supportive and the included ice pack is amazing to have after surgery

This is exactly what I needed to keep my arm elevated to reduce swelling in a stroke affected hand. As anyone with this condition knows, the hand swelling causes severe pain and severely limits the possibility of trying to exercise the hand. The hand needs to be kept elevated most of the time to avoid this. Regular pillows don't really help anywhere near as much as this grooved arm elevator. The shape of it and extras it has make it far more effective. Sometimes things I buy on Amazon are not always what they promise to be, but this item was exactly as it was described. I gove it a 5 out of 5. There are other similar arm elevation pillows on Amazon BUT they often don't have the gel pack, the extra gel insert pillow, or the elbow rest. Those features are what makes this hand elevation device better than the rest. When we opened the plastic, the pillow quickly snapped into the proper shape and size which tells me that the materials used are quality. The outer cover is very soft and comfortable. They used the perfect material to cover it. The size is perfect.

This has been very helpful after my recent carpal tunnel surgery. I use the ice pack and elevation as ordered by my surgeon. It is also useful while sleeping.

Came compressed stayed pretty much the same! Not comfortable!
