Amazon doesn’t let me write the “A” word in my reviews, so I will simply refer to it as “A.” I have been using this set for cheek A that has persisted on one cheek for 5 months now. One A bump will go away, and then another will pop up. After they have healed, they leave behind redness that stays for months & months. I have been using this set for a week, and am already seeing an improvement in the whole situation, so I think I can now say that this set is working for me. The cleanser is the foam type, which isn’t my favorite because I don’t find they work great when I am wearing make-up, so I have been doing a double cleanse. I use an oil cleanser first, and then this cleanser. The toner is a drying type - it is alcohol-based, but guess what? It picks up dirt like you wouldn’t believe. I cannot believe the amount of dirt and make-up this toner is able to grab onto when compared to other toners I have used. I have been really impressed with it. The lotion serum is sulfur-based, and yes, it has a metallic slightly eggy smell, but I actually don’t mind it … especially because it is working. I have seen such an improvement after just one week of using this set - I have to recommend it!

This 3 piece set has everything you need for skincare. It comes with a foaming cleanser, clarifying toner, and a lotion. I like how easy it is to dispense the products from the tubes with the pumps on them. The cleanser is effective at cleaning your face, the toner makes your skin feel clean, and the lotion is moisturizing on the skin without making it feel greasy or anything. This is a great addition to your skincare routine, and is nice and gentle on the skin.

The 3 pc set has been helpful for treating my breakouts. The foam cleanser creates a lush and soapy foam lather that really cleans my skin. It does not have an offensive odor, and leaves my skin feeling really fresh. The toner and lotion work well to keep my skin hydrated and soft throughout the day. I have not experienced any dryness or redness from use, so I intend to continue to use once a day, and hopefully it will help to curb my break outs.

UPDATE: I’m so upset that they’ve changed the lotion! That was the best part and the only part I was willing to repurchase. Now it’s like every other kit AND it bleaches clothing. :( ————— This three step kit is comparable to others but I love that it doesn’t have any bleaching ingredients, so I don’t have to worry about my clothes or bedding. The toner is pleasant, but I couldn’t use it everyday. I had to take a break…same with the face wash. But I can use the sulfur based lotion everyday—or as-needed if I’m taking a break from the whole system. That’s my favorite part of the whole kit. The foam is nice but I have to pump quite a bit out to really get a good wash. When I use the toner I find I need to use more than one cotton pad for some reason. Maybe it’s just getting a lot more than I’m used to. And the lotion rubs in easily. (Not sure why others don't agree...it's not unlike most sulfur lotions.) My only other issue is the size of the items––for example, the toner is much smaller than other OTC ones and didn't seem filled all the way. I think it would go quickly, leaving me with just the two other steps in the kit. For that reason it’s not the best value, but overall I really do like the way my skin feels in terms of texture and clarity.

The cleanser is pretty good. However, the toner and cream have alcohol in them which is very bad for your skin, so I didn't use them. My dermatologist told me to NEVER use alcohol on my skin. So, now I check every product before using it.

This kit is very much the same song and dance of the early 2000s, now with a foaming wash that leaks through the box. The elements are all there- a basic salicylic acid cleanser, a scorched-earth alcohol heavy drying toner, and the smelliest treatment lotion you could possibly have. The active ingredient sulfur leaves a very "old egg" scent that never *quite* fades away, and the lotion barely absorbs into your skin. Be advised: if you're going to try this as an overnight treatment- your pillow will reek of sulfur in the morning. It's very reminiscent of the "burn your face off with alcohol and hope for the best" high school days of the 90s. There's no follow up lotions or serums for repairing your skin either.

These products are perfect for the help my 69 year old skin needs only now and then. I ordered this kit because I was needing it at the time. I've been using the cleanser on my entire face, but in the AM only. I let it sit on my skin for a minute before rinsing it off. I've been using the toner and lotion over the area of concern only. In less than two weeks my issue was cleared up. I have dry skin, but didn't experience any visible dryness or flaking.

Clearogen's toner (4 fl oz) sells for $25 on Amazon on its own, and here it comes with a cleanser and lotion for just $5 more - I think this is one of the best value acne kits online! There's two different versions of this kit, one with benzoyl peroxide and another with sulfur -- this set is the one with sulfur The only downside for some folks might be that the lotion and cleanser are scented, although I personally like the smell
