This battery works as a great replacement for original B&D 14v battery.
This battery is a pervect replacement for my B&D 14V cordless drill/screwdriver. It works great, charges fine on the B&D charger and seems to last in use as long as the original battery. I will be buying more of this replacement battery.

Compatible with my Firestorm drill and charger
The battery packs work great with my old Firestorm FS1402D cordless drill and fit perfectly on the factory FSMVC charger. I get good drilling power and run time.

Work well and hold a charge. Capacity on par with original battery.
My old Black & Decker Equipment is approaching 20 years in service. Buying aftermarket batteries has been more of a "hit-or-miss" proposition. While I have suffered through several iterations of poorly performing replacement batteries, these seem to be better than the rest. Hopefully they are still available when I need more replacement batteries in 5 to 7 years...

Battery tested only 30% capacity of ad rating
The drill battery was advertised at 4.8AH capacity, but after charging it was only 1.5AH. My charger and tester work properly, so I asked for a refund and shipped it back. There are many sellers like this who apparently get rejected batteries and sell them without testing first. Price was great, item was not.
