Very good

Firstly, they claim doorstep installation service after purchase but there is absolutely zero support. I checked this product about a month back when it wasn’t yet launched and just because I checked the product once I started getting bugged by constant advertising on all social media, I bought the product giving into the hype and the advertising, I guess. Going to put a lot of effort to list down the issues because I regretting buying this and there is no return option for this device. 1. The picture quality says 1080p but that’s a false resolution made by increasing the pixel count instead of actually giving 1080p video quality. The picture quality is very poor. 2. The product has no battery option and only works via power adapter which is not clearly mentioned in the description, rather it says 3 batteries provided which are actually for the indoor chime. 3. The product has night vision IR but it barely illuminates in the dark, Feels like a forced addition of feature not having actual utility. 4. When someone presses the doorbell you get a call alert on your phone, 2 out of 3 times when I cancelled/disconnected the call, the loud ringer kept on ringing on my phone. No way to silence it just wait for it to eventually die out after 30 seconds. VERY VERY ANNOYING! 5. The adapter of the doorbell is attached to the doorbell at a very short length of about 2 feet and cannot be extended, So basically you need to have a big recessed storage behind your doorbell installation area to hide the adapter and its cable otherwise they would keep hanging below the doorbell and can easily be cut or pulled by someone who wishes to break in. Once the cable is cut, all alarm and cloud alert features are useless. 6. 2 way audio goes into a echo loop which only stops when you mute the device. 7. Worst of all this is a new product by this company and there is no return policy on Amazon for it. Basically you are stuck with the product if it doesn’t work for you or you don’t have proper installation facility for its adapter in your house like in my case. 8. There is no local Storage option with micro SD card or inbuilt memory and you are basically stuck with cloud recording which is a paid service, so you have to pay a monthly fee for life if you want the cloud recording which is the actual smart feature of this smart doorbell. 9. For some reason they have made the doorbell button a touch button, it has no click depth or feedback. Its like a touch screen button because of which it feels like you have not pressed the button properly and you tend to try and press it 3-4 times. 10. It takes about 15 seconds to receive the call on the app which is again useless. 11. Alexa alert is not instant and is not usable. 12. Also noticed the device heating up in the center when idle so don’t know how long this unreturnable device would last. Had they invested half of the marketing money in product development it would have been much better.

Installation was completed the very next day after delivery, which was impressive. The technician charged ₹400 to fill the gap left behind by the previous lock with a piece of plywood, which was not very impressive 🤷‍♂️ The companion app still needs work. Whenever I try to unlock the device through the app, it shows "unlocking unsuccessful," but then unlocks the door anyway. It’s functional, but the buggy behavior is a bit confusing. Overall, happy with the product and satisfied by the installation process, but the app experience could be much better.

After using the Qubo Doorbell for a solid five months, I feel well-equipped to share my detailed thoughts on this smart home device. One of the standout features for me has been the ability to log into my Qubo account from two different devices using a single ID. This flexibility means I can manage and monitor my doorbell from multiple devices without any hassle. Additionally, the Qubo Doorbell offers versatile recording options. You can choose to record continuously or set it to only record events when motion is detected. This flexibility ensures that you capture all necessary footage without filling up your storage too quickly. The doorbell's integration with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa has been a game-changer. Whenever someone rings the doorbell, not only does the provided chime ring inside my house, but I also receive instant notifications on my connected devices. I can even answer the doorbell through a video call, adding an extra layer of convenience. Furthermore, both Google Home and Alexa devices announce when someone is at the door, which is incredibly useful when I'm not in immediate reach of my phone. However, it's worth noting that there is a slight delay of about 5 seconds from the moment the doorbell button is pressed to when the announcement is made on Google Home or Alexa devices. Even when my internet connection is down, the provided chime still rings, ensuring I never miss a visitor. Although I can't control the doorbell through the app without an internet connection, the reliability of the chime is reassuring. Speaking of the chime, it's worth mentioning that it is quite loud, making it easy to hear regardless of where I am in my house. Clarity of camera is good. App is easy to use. Installation was free and quick- great work by the technician Mr Vaibhav, came the next morning for installation and completed it smoothly, installed and explained the app in detail, resolved all queries.

The Qubo ecosystem is full of over priced and low quality products. I have installed a Qubo camera doorbell, a Qubo door lock and had to buy a qubo wifi Gateway. If you have a choice stay away from qubo products all together. I will tell you why? Firstly, the qubo camera doorbell supports only AC power supply. It shuts down whenever there is a power cut and the power supply shifts to generator and back. Once it switches off and on, the camera doorbell gets disconnected from Wifi. You have to again structure with the complicated process of wifi sync. Most of the time one has to physically reset the device. The camera doorbell is next to the door lock 🔐 and both are in Bluetooth range. However both can't communicate with each other. You have to pay more and upgrade to a Pro version for this feature. The fingerprint sensor is of very poor quality, it takes multiple attempts to recognize registered fingerprints. Now if with gods grace and multiple attempts at resetting both the camera doorbell and door lock are working, and there are no power outage. You will have to pay another 3 to 4 k INR to but their wifi gateway (this product) to avail remote unlock (this feature is inbuilt in most other doorlocks at a lesser price point). The wifi gateway doesn't come with any reset button and only 1 yr warranty. In my case it only worked for first few months and the turned into a stone. If you call the customer care, they will just read out the script given to them. There is no real support available. In my case the simple response I received was to go and buy another Qubo gateway. The green LED light remains constantly on and the gateway should be switched off and on 5 times to reset ( could there be any dumber reset method ? ). I am now stuck with substandard Qubo products which are adding nuisance in my life rather than bringing peace of mind. I have to get up from office meetings to attend to all door bells and open the gate every time. The same could be done with a Rs 50 ting tong remote door bell. Why should I be paying thousands to do just the same. Qubo has no innovative bone in their product lineup, they have thrown a ton of money on brand building and marketing and now sucking from customers to make profits without delivering any real value. Please think 🤔 1000 times before getting into this product ecosystem. My gate is coming up with some amazing products which work and there are tapo and few others who are providing good value.
