I tried many methods of backing up pictures from my phones. This was by far the best option. It transferred pictures very fast whether uploading or downloading. I currently has about 45,000 pics and vids saved, and it isn’t even close to full. (Barely made a dent on the 1 terabyte.) don’t pass this one up.

Everything works, no issues so far. Great value, and the only thing I would point out is the quality of the plastic protecting it (it’s a little cheap).

Its really small. accurate picture. I like the type c to c with a usb adaptor attachment. Makes for a very user friendly and upto date experience. I've heard Orico's dive into the storage production has been going well so far with minimal returns while still being affordable. I have also been a long term return customer of theirs. I find their product does last with care and its dependable too

I wanted reliable storage. What I got instead was a front-row ticket to the greatest tragedy in the history of consumer electronics. This drive promised “dust and drop resistance” and “reliable storage” — but the only thing resistant was my patience, and the only thing reliable was how quickly it failed. First, the speed: advertised at 460MB/s. In reality? It crawled like a snail that just ran a marathon. Plugged into my laptop, it took longer to copy a single folder than it took me to finish an entire Lord of the Rings extended edition marathon. I swear the Ents move faster. Second, the durability: they claim drop resistance. I gently placed it on my desk, and it audibly groaned, disconnected itself, and refused to mount again like a diva storming off stage. Dust resistant? I sneezed near it and it went into witness protection. Third, the reliability: within a week, the drive randomly corrupted itself and turned my term papers, photos, and Steam library into digital ashes. Watching “File cannot be found” pop up over and over was like watching my childhood dog run away in real time. The included “2-in-1 USB-C cable”? More like 2-in-0. It bent like cooked spaghetti, then frayed like a cheap shoelace. I half-expected it to burst into flames just to complete the performance. Final verdict: This SSD isn’t portable storage. It’s a portable heartbreak machine. Save your money, your sanity, and your data. If Dante wrote a new circle of hell for bad tech, the ORICO M25PRO would be the entry ticket. Would I buy again? Only if I needed a $70 paperweight.

I got the 512GB variant on sale for $50. After some initial testing everything looks good. The drive is well built with a textured coating. It's about half the size of a standard external SSD such as the X9, which makes it a an intermediate between a thumb drive and external SSD in terms of footprint. Impressively the drives write performance seems to nearly equal it's read performance, which makes it ideal for recording video or other high throughput use cases. Black Magic Disk Speed Test reported sequential read/write speeds of around 1000MB/s on a macbook. I used it to copy around 250GB of data and ran another test, which gave about identical results. I think it's ideal use would be as a high capacity transfer drive, or for video recording. In this context it's small enough to replace a thumb drive, but with much higher speed and increased capacity. The included cable comes with a tethered adapter which lets you use it as either a regular USB or USB-C, which is good for cross-device compatibility. If you were to replace it with a short flexible cable I imagine you could also mount it directly to a camera without adding encumbrance. The drive doesn't seem to get overly hot during use either, which is good. I have had thumb drives and other compact storage in the past that seemed to get unreasonably hot to the touch, no such issue here.

この商品の実際の容量は512GBだったので個人的に嬉しい誤算でした。自分は主にAndroidスマホでの利用ですが自分が他に使用しているsandiskやKIOXIAよりもデータ移動が早いので助かっています。因みに一切防水性はありません。本体を保護するシリコンカバーは標準で付属しています。ただ一点だけ不満なのが付属のUSBケーブルが片方のC端子に旧USB変換端子が一体化している為スマホ利用の場合別途USBCケーブルを購入するか一体化している変換端子を切り取る必要が有る為そこだけ不満が有りました。昨今SSDが高騰している為価格が安い内に購入出来て良かった。
