Fine Bubbles
I was a bit skeptical about these drops. Seemed too simple.... I had tried carbonation a cider in bottles using "traditional" methods and completely failed. Thought I'd give these a try. I found they do take some time to work, you can't open a bottle after two or three weeks and expect results. But after four weeks, wow these things just came alight. Fantastic carbonation and fine bubbles. Excellent. Make sure you get your tops on secure!!

Will use again
Just tasted my first batch using this priming sugar. Worked very well and tasted great!

Must break them to use in flip top bottles
Won't fit in flip top bottle without breaking them. They do carbonate beverages very well. If they were barrel shaped and fit in a flip top they would be perfect.

It's corn sugar.
Glad I can get this delivered now that all of the local home brew suppliers have shut down. It's exactly what it says it is and while I would rather it be cheaper it's better than not having it.

Great Priming Sugar
Priming sugar for bottling beer and hard ciders. Dissolves easily and hasn't let me down yet.

These work best
These have worked out incredibly well. It was my go-to drop prior to going with pressure fermentation.

Didnโt work
Smelt funny and did not carbonate my brew.

A Must-Have When Making Cider
When you make hard apple cider, you ferment it as you would wine. I take it to the next step and fine it as I would one of my white wines with chitosan/kieselsol. And when you bottle, you need something that adds the carbonation. That's where these darlings come in. Use 1 for a pint bottle, 2 for a larger bottle, and in a few weeks, you have hard cider that is perfectly carbonated. There is no residue from these drops left in the bottle, so they're great to use. Highly recommended!
