This is my sixth bag of these beans. I’m really impressed with the quality control and taste. Every bag I rinse and soak and during rinsing there is not too much dark water or rocks being found, if any rocks. Other brands are not as clean and prepped. These beans are excellent for Mediterranean spring and summer salads and I’m happy with them.

Never got at all soft. Very hard inedible rocks.
I tried the three ways listed on the bag to cook them. They never got soft. I cooked them way beyond the cook time the bag suggested they just never stopped being hard as rocks. They didn’t get edible even after overnight soaking and 4 hours on the stove. Couldn’t eat them so I have no idea what they would taste like if you could eat them.

Best Beans
These beans are the best. Another popular brand (that has numbers as the name) had a ROCK in it. I mailed it in to the company but they never even acknowledged it, so I will never buy those again. But SIMPLI garbanzo beans are a winner.

Great Organic product
If you are looking for a regenerative organic certified chickpea this is it! I soaked them over night and then made hummus and falafels with them and they turned out great! it's a small bag for the price - that is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, I feel it is a really good product.
