Great Backpack!
This Bellroy backpack is great. The quality is great, sturdy and easy to clean. Having multiple pockets outside and inside make it a great option for me. The backpack is not too big, so it make sit easy to travel with, specially when packing light. It's comfortable to wear. I carry a 15.7" laptop, an 11" iPad and a few other items.

Good for EDC or Travel
Wonderful all around backpack. Works great as an everyday carry pack and as a carry on when traveling. The pockets are cleverly placed and have their own, independent, volume. The backpack is stylish, has a large carry capacity, and is made from premium materials. The bag is comfortable but can become slightly uncomfortable if worn for a longer period. My only negative is the shoulder straps could use a little more padding. Overall, it’s worth the money.

Love the bag but I miss a handle on the side!
I absolutely adore this bag, but it has a significant drawback when used with wheeled carry-on luggage. When using it with wheeled carry-on luggage, the bag rests horizontally on the roller bag. If a bagpack has a horizontal carry-on pass-through, it must have a handle on the side too. Without this handle, it becomes challenging to maneuver the bag through the carry-on handle or remove it from it.

A Bag I Want to Love…
I’ve taken this pack on a few international and domestic trips. I like its features and build quality, but I wish I liked it more. Here’s why I can’t love this bag: - Too heavy (2.1 lbs). I appreciate solid construction, but not at this weight. I have a 60L pack that weighs less and is just as durable and waterproof. - Main zipper path is awful. The zipper has to turn at an angle at the top to close, which often makes one-handed use impossible and two-handed use annoying. The waterproof zipper needs extra force, which makes it even worse. - Top section flops and fights you. Once you load the top compartment and inner top pocket, that whole section becomes heavy and collapses over itself when unzipped. It throws the bag off balance and makes closing it a hassle. - Top handle is too low and uncomfortable. It’s set too low, and the stiff back board comes right up to it, digging into the back of my hand when I carry it. A top handle should be easy to grab and comfortable; this one is neither. - Needs more (and better) handles. The top handle is already hard to grab, and the stiff canvas body is hard to grip. I’d gladly trade weight elsewhere to add side handles. - Terrible water bottle pocket. If you bend over, your bottle will slide right out and slam onto the ground. There’s a tiny strap there, but it’s too short to wrap around most bottles and too high up to be useful unless you carry a tall 1.5L tower all the time. A simple elastic pocket would be more functional and handle more bottle sizes securely. Aesthetics be damned. - Side zip pocket is basically wasted. The zip pocket on the opposite side is so tight that hardly anything fits. I do use it for small items, but the rigid opening and non-stretch material make it impractical, and any capacity it has just bulges into the main compartment. - Too rigid, not flexible enough. I’d prefer thinner, lighter fabric with some give over this stiff, heavy canvas. When the bag is full, it’s full- no massage room. Try shoving in a bulky coat, camera, and a few extras from walking around town; the lack of flex makes packing frustrating. - Untapped external carry. There are strap loops where I could tie on a bulky bag or jacket, but it doesn’t come with straps or any attachment hardware... - Suitcase pass-through is oriented wrong. The luggage-handle loop is vertical. Think about moving through an airport: your bag is laid on its side on top of your suitcase, with the top compartment facing out. If you unzip it like that, everything spills out. You really want the bag upright on your suitcase. I’ve been looping the top handle over my luggage handle instead, but then that stiff back board is pressed right where you want to grip, digging into your hand even more. It sort of works, but it’s not comfortable or clearly designed for this. Final thoughts: Most of what I’ve written is negative, but it’s genuinely a very nice bag, which is exactly why it frustrates me. I want to love it. The size, compartments, and features are mostly laid out the way I want. What’s missing is thoughtful consideration of how those features work and feel in real use. It makes me question how much real field testing went into it. Swap the thick, heavy canvas for a lighter, durable waterproof fabric and reinforce only high-wear areas. Use stretchy materials and elastic where expansion and security are needed, especially for the water bottle pocket. Rethink the zipper and top flap behavior. It’s death by small annoyances that has me wishing this bag delivered the experience its design hints at.

26L is smaller than the 26L of the ABLE CARRY MAX; Tale of 2 bags
The Bellroy has a 26L main compartment. When compared to the Able Carry Max 26L main compartment, the Bellroy is much smaller. The Bellroy is about an inch shorter though. There is a big difference in the design of the "tub", the Bellroy has only 3 side panels and is taper at the top. You can see the size difference with the Peak Design 6L sling stored in it. The Bellroy is physically smaller than the Able Carry and appears to be visually much smaller because of the taper top. When not fully packed, the Bellroy is floppy and will compress, the Able Carry Max has semi rigid side panels and will hold its shape. The Able Carry has a separate 4L laptop compartment and is loaded with MANY FEATURES lacking in the Bellroy. The Able Carry also comes in X-Pac fabric and held up well in light rain. (In Tokyo, it rains heavily, so I used a rain cover for the bag) Able Carry Max 30L is $280, about $20 more than the Bellroy. The Able Carry is my travel pack and the Bellroy is my day bag. I bring both onto the airplane as a carry-on and personal item. The Bellroy will fit under an airplane seat very easily in B787, B737, and A321 that I flew on as my larger Osprey 35L did. I love both bags (in navy color) and I highly recommend both bags.

bad materials
feels like a piece of hard plastic, when you hold it. not soft, very hard. when half empty - feels absolutely not convenient / not flexible behind your back. looks good only when fully stuffed.

Literally The Perfect Backpack
Best pack I have ever owned. I’m two months into owning it. I love the color the material and the water bottle storage fits my hydroflask. Perfect if you want some pockets and compartments but not an overwhelming amount.

Love this backpack
Really great backpack, I use it for my commute: it fits a pair of shoes, gym kit, toiletry bag and laptop (tight squeeze but it fits!) Exceptional quality and super comfortable to wear.

No es la súper mochila, pero está bien construida
Me gusta que sea relativamente impermeable pues puedo cargar mi cámara y mi MacBook sin problema, ahora bien, después de caminar con la mochila, se suda mucho, Thule o Patagonia. No te hacen sudar tanto. Algo cara para lo que ofrece, pero si tienes dinero o curiosidad por probar una marca nueva, adelante

Not Worth ¥50,000, But A Decent Product At ¥26,000
It's lightweight and seems durable. It's not worth the full price of over ¥50,000. But I managed to buy it at a discounted price of ¥26,000, which is a fair price for the product.
