This is quite big. I’ve seen many bishts like this but how am I supposed to get it fit? And why is it only one piece?

This Bisht is a one size for all, designed to fit an average sized person, but may need a length adjustment. I’m 5’7”, and had it shortened by a tailor, but the width was just right for my arms-pan. This garment is supposed to be one piece, and I think you perceived it otherwise.
